It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nAs a senior member of the electrical engineering team, work collaboratively with multi-functional teams to complete critical improvements or net new robotic product designs from concept to production including design, prototyping, build, verification, validation, and certification.\n\nSupport the R&D global technical team on multiple projects in parallel.\n\nActively work to improve the quality and reliability of current and future products within the Pharmacy Automation portfolio by applying theoretical and hands-on electrical support to identifyproblems and deliver robust solutions.\n\nProvide electrical solutions for changes to existing products in terms of:design test setups for manufacturing, write test applications, develop tools for system diagnostics and monitoring capabilities, and provide support for existing board designs.\n\nCreate, update, and release technical documentation to support the electrical aspects of the systems being developed.\n\nProvide electrical support for the ongoing regulatory certification efforts for multiple product lines.\n\nSkills and Experience\nDemonstrated knowledge with motion control, AC power electronics, motorsand controls, sensors, servo systems, and embedded control systems\n\nDemonstrated proficiencywith LabViewand/or LabWindowsCVI software to develop and support test automation\n\nFamiliarity with the Altium PCB development environment or similar EE design packagefor schematiccapture, board layout, manufacturingfiles, and documentationfor PCBA development.\n\nSystem level electrical architecture experiencea must.\n\nAbility to build prototype printed circuit board assemblies and cables.\n\nExperience in obtaining and maintainingregulatory certification for products which comply withUL-61010 or UL-60601, CEand TuV.\n\nExperience withobtaining EMI/EMC certification.\n\nQualification Required\nBachelor'sdegree\n\n10+ years of applicable experience\n\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
