It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nTheSupply Chain Production Planner, under the direction of the Production Planning Supervisor, develops, maintains and executes production plans to support customer demand, manufacturing continuity, service objectives, and inventory targets. Responsible for production order management, schedule adherence, SAP planning transactions, short-term production planning, critical material reviews, and coordination with manufacturing operations.\nResponsibilities:\nRelease, create, modify and maintain production orders in SAP.\nMonitor day-to-day production plan execution and production adherence.\nManage production order changes and priority adjustments.\nLayout weekly production schedules by SKU and manufacturing area.\nMaintain PPDS production plans for the rolling 2-month horizon.\nEnter and maintain 12-month production outlook in SNP planning system.\nCoordinate with Operations and Manufacturing to support schedule execution.\nReview work orders and material transactions for planning accuracy.\nSupport resolution of DHR and production release issues.\nBalance month-end production schedules to support shipment and financial targets.\nLead weekly hotspot reviews and critical material reviews.\nSupport engineering change requests and product transitions.\nCreate and maintain planning orders supporting QHL, Cayey and Holdrege operations.\nSupport allocation activities for external outsourcing for sterilization requirements\nAssist with inbound delivery and supply issue resolution impacting production.\nPrepare monthly production attainment and volume/mix reporting.\nUpdate and maintain PPA dashboards and work-order status reporting.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nParticipate in BD Sumter Supply Review meetings.\nSupport continuous improvement projects within planning operations.\nMaintain SAP master data integrity related to production planning.\nObserve all Quality System Requirements, Safety and Environmental policies.\nPerform other duties assigned by the Planning Supervisor or Supply Chain Manager.\nCore Competencies:\nAnalytical Thinking\nProblem Solving\nCommunication\nPlanning and Prioritization\nAccountability\nDrive for Results\nCross Functional Collaboration\nContinuous Improvement\nEducation\nBachelor degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field preferred.\nExperience & Knowledge\n3+ years of production planning, manufacturing planning or supply chain planning experience.\nSAP ERP experience required.\nKnowledge of MRP, scheduling and inventory management processes.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nTechnical Skills\nProduction Planning (Expert)\nProduction Order Management (Expert)\nSAP ERP / PPDS / SNP (Proficient)\nMRP Planning (Proficient)\nReporting & Data Analysis (Proficient)\nWork Environment:\nBD is a smoke-free campus.
