Performs and leads set up, operation, minor and major routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of highly complex/highly automated manufacturing equipment. Assists with root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions. Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Ensures accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety and maintenance documents. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves highly complex issues associated with the machine performance and/or product quality.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nTeam lead is the point person for day-to-day operation support and guidance and works closely with supervisor on issues that need to be escalated.\n\nWorks within standards and operating procedures to plan, perform, and make decisions regarding the set up and operations of a variety of production equipment, including automated machine processes and controls to perform routine assembly-line production functions of filling, packing, assembling, labeling and inspecting\n\nResponsible for complex troubleshooting and problem solving\n\nIdentifies the need for minor equipment repairs\n\nAnalyze and evaluate charts, follows simple diagrams, testing, and inspecting procedures\n\nConducts root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions\n\nMonitor quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.\n\nEnsures accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety, and maintenance documents. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with the machine performance and/or product quality.\n\nConducts minor equipment repairs and identify and resolve equipment problems\n\nAssists in planning and controlling the timing of operations\n\nProvides support on a regular basis on overall operation and people support\n\nProvides training support for on-boarding and/or new procedures\n\nProvides support on special projects\n\nProvides coaching to associates on day-to-day activities and performance\n\nLeads team on special projects and interim coverage for a supervisor\n\nProvides continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiency\n\nDemonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)\n\nMust follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures\n\nMust follow all BD safety policies and procedures\n\nMust be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements\n\nPerform other duties as required\nResolve PO Variances (SAP training)\n\nReview BHR’s and coach operators on GDP\n\nQualifications\nMinimum Education/Experience:\nHigh school degree with 6 years manufacturing experience in Food, Pharma and Industrial production settings.
