It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nThe Technician12 hours shift is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement and training on all automated equipment, including but not limited to Multivac, HMIS and Vision System.\nThis position receives direct guidance and work instructions from the Lead Technician. Also, has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Shift Manufacturing Facilitator in terms of daily priorities.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES\nResponsible for the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of process machinery.\nPrepare and maintain preventive maintenance documentation.\nResponsible for maintain spare parts for its assigned equipment; all additional machine components as necessary.\nMakes recommendations for equipment improvement and work with engineer and production supervisors to attain cost saving and machine efficiency goals.\nMust be able to fabricate machine parts in the maintenance shop.\nSupport process improvement projects and qualification effort.\nExecute and document preventive maintenance work orders.\nExecute and document equipment corrective maintenance.\nExecute and document validations.\nIncumbent is expected to be able to provide technical guidance to machine set ups and operators.\nComply with Good Documentation Practices.\nComply with GMP requirements.\nComply with OSHA and PROSHO requirements.\nResponsible for working in accordance with the training, work procedures and instructions to ensure satisfactory EHS performance.\nResponsible for reporting accidents, unsafe acts and defective equipment to their supervisor.\nCooperate with management and supervisors by actively participating in EHS improvements activities.\nResponsible to complete the training to work as an operator set up in all IDS manufacturing lines.\nOthers tasks as required by the supervisor.\nEducation and Experience:\nAssociate Degree in Electronics or Industrial Mechanics.\nMinimum five (5) year’s experience in a similar position.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\n1. Knowledge of the followings areas is mandatory;\na. Electricity\nb. Electronics (Diagrams also required).\nc. Vibratory Feedings\nd. Pneumatics (Diagrams also required).\ne. Industrial Mechanics\nf. Ultrasonic Welding\ng. Tool Making\nh. Interpretation of technical drawings\n2. Knowledge of the following areas is desirable;\na. Programmable Logic Controllers\nb. Vision Systems\nc. Hydraulics\nd. Liquid Dispensing\ne. Thermoforming\n3. Knowledge in the followings areas is a plus;\na. Metrology/Calibrations\nb. Refrigerations\nc. Vacuum Pumps\nd. Ultrasonic Atomization\ne. Compressed Air Atomization\n4. Experience with the following equipment is desirable;\na. Thermoformers\nb. High-speed assembly equipment\nc. Bagging equipment\nd. Pad printing equipment\ne. Positive displacement pumps\nf.
