This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience who enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities\nOperate forklifts, turret trucks, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and other material handling equipment\nLoad and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility\nPerform warehouse replenishment, inventory transactions, and cycle counts\nRotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices\nSupport shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations\nEnsure warehouse safety, security, quality, and inventory accuracy standards are met\nParticipate in shift start-up meetings, 5S activities, and continuous improvement projects\nWhat We're Looking For\nWarehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience\nForklift experience preferred (or ability to become certified)\nBasic computer and inventory system skills\nStrong attention to detail and teamwork skills\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities\nWhy BD?\nLow/no-cost benefits, including $0 premium medical plan options\nClimate-controlled facility\nOn-site cafeteria and 24-hour gym\nStable career supporting life-saving medical products\nOnly work 15 days each month\nThe incumbent must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
