From creating solutions for our clients to building careers for our people, we shape what matters, and that’s where you come in.\nAbout the Role\nWe have an exciting opportunity for an Operations & Strategy Manager to join our Brisbane Tax division and support the delivery of strategic and operational priorities.\nWorking across all functional areas, you will drive operational excellence and lead initiatives that enhance people experience, strengthen quality, enable digital solutions, and improve how we work. In partnership with the Brisbane Partner in Charge and National Operations Manager, you will help translate national priorities into local action, ensuring our teams are informed, supported and positioned for success.\nThis is a part-time opportunity (22.5 hours per week), which can be worked across three or four days.\nKey responsibilities:\nSupport the execution of operational strategies aligned to BDO’s National Tax strategy and divisional objectives.\nCoordinate divisional budgeting activities, ensuring timely and accurate inputs into Workday.\nSupport business development initiatives through tender and proposal coordination, pipeline monitoring and related activities.\nPartner with People & Culture and divisional leaders to support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and early careers talent initiatives.\nChampion national people experience programs and coordinate key divisional engagement initiatives and events.\nCollaborate with the Finance Business Partner to coordinate divisional performance and management reporting, including financial, productivity and operational insights.\nCoordinate monthly operational activities, communications and reporting cycles, ensuring alignment between national and local priorities.\nDrive the implementation of national best practice methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and consistency across the division.\nAbout You\nPrevious experience in an operations, strategy or executive support role, ideally within a professional services environment.\nExperience supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives, business planning, reporting and operational priorities.\nThe ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.\nExperience coordinating multiple projects, priorities and activities in a fast paced environment.\nA proactive approach, sound judgement and the ability to drive initiatives through to completion.\nWhy BDO?\nWorking for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.\nOur national and global footprint provides our people with opportunities to work on interesting client engagements, across diverse industry sectors and services.\nOur open and collaborative culture ensures access to Partners and professional mentors, to guide and accelerate your professional career, across a wide array of career pathways.\nWe provide our people with various health and wellbeing, social, financial, and professional development benefits to help realise what’s possible.\nParticipate in fitness challenges or take advantage of exclusive discounts to corporate health insurance, gym memberships and wellness facilities via our BWell program.
