Our focus is on employer sponsored visas, permanent residence pathways, and strategic immigration planning for businesses and individuals.\nAs part of the BDO global network, we combine legal expertise with a commitment to integrity, responsiveness and impact. We are a purpose driven team that values technical excellence, reliability and life changing outcomes for our clients.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\nOversee the day-to-day operations of the Migration Services practice, managing workflows, resource allocation and compliance across legal and support staff.\nManage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, billing, work in progress (WIP), debtor management and performance reporting.\nLead and support the administrative and operational team, supporting with recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and performance development while promoting a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture.\nSupport client service operations, including onboarding, service delivery standards, client communications and the resolution of non-legal client matters.\nIdentify and implement process improvements, systems and initiatives that streamline operations and improve efficiency, productivity and client outcomes.\nContribute to strategic planning, growth initiatives and business development activities.\nSkill and Attributes\nExceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and keep multiple workstreams moving effectively.\nStrong commercial and financial acumen, combined with an analytical approach to problem solving and informed decision-making.\nStrong leadership capability with a collaborative and supportive approach.\nCommitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, accountability and attention to detail.\nQualifications and Experience required:\nMinimum 5 years' experience in a practice management, operations management or business management role.\nExperience within a legal practice, migration firm, professional services or consulting environment preferred.\nExperience managing budgets, billing, financial reporting and team performance.\nStrong systems capability, including practice management and CRM platforms such as Migration Manager or similar.\nTertiary qualifications in business, management, commerce or a related discipline are highly regarded.\nWhy BDO?\nWorking for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.\nOur national and global footprint provides our people with opportunities to work on interesting client engagements, across diverse industry sectors and services.\nOur open and collaborative culture ensures access to Partners and professional mentors, to guide and accelerate your professional career, across a wide array of career pathways.\nWe provide our people with various health and wellbeing, social, financial, and professional development benefits to help realise what’s possible.\nParticipate in fitness challenges or take advantage of exclusive discounts to corporate health insurance, gym memberships and wellness facilities via our BWell program.
