From creating solutions for our clients to building careers for our people, we shape what matters, and that’s where you come in.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a Project Manager to join our Digital Consulting team and manage the end-to-end project lifecycles for cloud-based HCM platforms including Oracle HCM Cloud, Dayforce (Ceridian), SuccessFactors, and related workforce management solutions.\nKey responsibilities include:\nProject Delivery & Governance\nLead the planning, execution, and delivery of HCM implementations and optimisation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and steering committee packs.\nManage project budgets, resource plans, and vendor relationships across concurrent workstreams.\nEstablish and maintain project governance frameworks aligned with organisational standards and industry best practice.\nStakeholder Engagement\nAct as the primary point of contact between delivery teams, business stakeholders, and technology vendors.\nFacilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and design reviews with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.\nProvide clear, concise reporting to project sponsors and steering committees on progress, risks, and decisions required.\nHCM Domain Experience\nApply working knowledge of HCM business processes including core HR, payroll, workforce management, recruitment, onboarding, learning, and talent management.\nContribute to solution design discussions, address client issues, provide options and challenge vendor recommendations where appropriate, drawing on team’s and individual prior implementation experience.\nSupport change management and user adoption activities, working collaboratively with organisational change leads.\nTeam Leadership\nCoordinate and motivate cross-functional project teams comprising internal staff, contractors, and vendor consultants.\nMentor other consultants within the team.\nFoster a collaborative, transparent team culture focused on outcomes and continuous improvement.\nAbout You\nOur ideal candidate has 5 years’ of experience in project management, with at least 2-3 years focused on HCM or HRIS system implementations ideally from a professional services, consulting, or systems integration environment.\nDemonstrated experience delivering projects on one or more of the following platforms: Oracle HCM Cloud, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or equivalent enterprise HCM solutions.\nStrong understanding of end-to-end HCM processes including payroll, time and attendance, workforce planning, and talent management.\nProven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and navigate complex stakeholder environments.\nFamiliarity with Australian payroll and employment legislation (e.g. Modern Awards, Single Touch Payroll).\nExposure to data migration, integration design, and testing methodologies in an HCM context.\nExperience with Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks.\nKnowledge of change management frameworks\nWhy BDO?\nWorking for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.\nOur national and global footprint provides our people with opportunities to work on interesting client engagements, across diverse industry sectors and services.\nOur open and collaborative culture ensures access to Partners and professional mentors, to guide and accelerate your professional career, across a wide array of career pathways.\nWe provide our people with various health and wellbeing, social, financial, and professional development benefits to help realise what’s possible.\nParticipate in fitness challenges or take advantage of exclusive discounts to corporate health insurance, gym memberships and wellness facilities via our BWell program.
