From creating solutions for our clients to building careers for our people, we shape what matters, and that’s where you come in.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a UX & Content Designer to join BDO's Information Technology team on a 2-year max-term contract, helping shape and enhance the experience of Global Portal, BDO's client collaboration platform.\nThis role can be based in our Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney offices, working as part of a nationally connected team.\nReporting to the Global Portal Product Manager, you will combine user research, experience design and content design expertise to understand user needs, identify opportunities for improvement and influence the evolution of the platform. Working closely with technology, product and business stakeholders, you'll help create intuitive, accessible and effective digital experiences that improve how BDO teams and clients collaborate.\nAbout the Team\nBDO's Information Technology team is part of our national shared services function, providing the technology, systems and digital platforms that support our people and clients across the firm.\nAs part of the Global Portal product team, you'll help deliver and continuously improve BDO's secure client collaboration platform. Global Portal enables BDO teams and clients to securely share information, manage requests, collaborate on engagements and access key documents in one place.\nYou'll join a collaborative team focused on innovation, user experience and continuous improvement, working closely with stakeholders across Australia and the broader global network.\nAbout the Opportunity\nIn this role, you'll:\nConduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing and feedback analysis.\nIdentify user needs, pain points and opportunities for improvement.\nMaintain user personas, journey maps and experience artefacts, and use UX audits, feedback and behavioural insights to identify opportunities for improvement.\nTranslate insights into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and experience concepts.\nImprove content, navigation, onboarding resources and support experiences across the platform.\nEnhance information architecture to improve usability and content discoverability.\nPartner with product, technology and business stakeholders to deliver user-centred solutions.\nAnalyse user feedback and behavioural data to inform continuous improvement initiatives.\nChampion accessibility, usability and best-practice UX and content design principles.\nContribute Australian user insights to local and global platform initiatives.\nAbout You\n\nYou are passionate about understanding user behaviour and improving digital experiences.
