BDO’s Modern Workplace Practice provides clients with solutions and services in the areas of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Viva, Enterprise Content Management, Intranets and Collaboration. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, and can be based out of any of our Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver or Halifax offices, depending on the candidate's location. This role is for an existing vacancy.\nKey responsibilities of the role will include:\nGrowth:\nParticipating in pre-sales activities including creating and running demos, presentations, drafting statements of work, pricing, proposals and responding to requests for proposal (RFPs)\n\nAssisting in the development & implementation of new service offering\n\nEngagements:\nRunning client workshops and gathering/documenting requirements for modern workplace, content/document management and collaboration solutions\n\nProject management of multiple engagements against budget, timeline and scope\n\nDeveloping strategies and roadmap for clients to begin their modern workplace journey\n\nLead and manage marketing and sales campaigns to generate leads\n\nAct as a liaison with Partners including Microsoft and other ISV’s\n\nEvangelize Microsoft Copilot for M365, Microsoft 365, Viva and other Microsoft products internally and with clients\n\nContribute to strategic direction of the Modern Workplace practice\n\nActing as a customer escalation contact as required and providing management and guidance related to the resolution of customer satisfaction concerns\n\nBuilding deeper relationships with clients and assisting in expanding the engagement footprint when the opportunity presents itself\n\nCreating end user documentation for clients and providing training on Microsoft 365 and other applications\n\nTalent:\nLeading/managing engagement teams and ensuring that team members are effectively utilized\n\nOn-going mentoring and coaching of team members including performance management\n\nEnsuring our support professionals have the skills, experience and capacity required to deliver our service offerings\n\nFostering a sense of purpose within the team; developing short and long-term objectives aligned with driving behaviours supporting our core values, mission and vision\n\nInterviewing and hiring new talent as the team grows\n\nHow do we define success for your role?\nYou demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and Collaboration\n\nYou understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work\n\nYou identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clients\n\nYou share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains and attracts talent\n\nYou actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace\n\nYou grow your expertise through learning and professional development.\n\nYour experience and education\nExcellent customer-facing, communication and presentation skills\n\nExpert knowledge of the latest Modern Work tools in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot for M365, SharePoint, Teams, Viva\n\nAdept at understanding and eliciting client business challenges and documenting high-level requirements\n\nAbility to run workshops/requirements gathering sessions for modern workplace, employee experience, content management, document management and collaboration solutions\n\nExperience leading or managing a team and coaching/mentoring team members\n\nExperience leading pre-sales meetings and activities including creating and running demos, presentations, drafting statements of work, proposals and responding to request for proposals (RFPs)\n\nExperience with Change Management and adoption frameworks\n\nExperience creating end user documentation and provide training on Microsoft services\n\nAbility to do project management and business analysis\n\nUnderstanding of the following concepts: GenAI, Agentic AI, Document Management, Unstructured Data, Employee Experience, Knowledge Management, Information Management\n\nPrevious experience working with a consulting firm would be an asset\n\nExcellent in multi-tasking and time management\n\nStrategic planning and management expertise\n\nThe expected range of compensation for this role is $115,000 - $165,000 annually.\nWhy BDO?\nOur people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2026.
