We expect to grow sizably in the coming 3-5 years, adding various dimensions to our business and multiplying and increasing the current team size multi-fold. \n\nJob Title: Manager-Data Engineer \n\nJob Summary \nWe are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server, ETL/ELT development, and legacy database migration. The ideal candidate will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, support data integration initiatives, and ensure data quality across systems. \nExperience in Banking, Financial Services, or Accounting is preferred, with exposure to financial data, reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing. \n\nKey Responsibilities \nDesign, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines. \nDevelop and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server. \nPerform data migration from legacy systems to modern platforms. \nDesign data models and optimize database performance. \nImplement data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes. \nTroubleshoot data quality and integration issues. \nCollaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions. \nMaintain technical documentation and migration runbooks. \nEnsure data security, governance, backup, and recovery standards. \nSupport financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit requirements. \nCreate and maintain technical documentation, migration runbooks, and data dictionaries. \nImplement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. \nEnsure data security, governance, and compliance standards are followed. \nExposure to financial risk management data, risk reporting, and risk analytics will be an added advantage. \n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications \n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Database Administration. \nStrong expertise in PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server. \nExperience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, Airflow, or similar. \nStrong SQL and database performance tuning skills. \nExperience with database migration and modernization projects. \nKnowledge of Python or Shell scripting. \nExposure to financial risk management data, risk reporting, and risk analytics will be an added advantage. \nUnderstanding of financial data models, reconciliations, regulatory reporting,
