From creating solutions for our clients to building careers for our people, we shape what matters, and that’s where you come in.\nAbout the Role\nThis is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of client engagements across IT strategy, data governance, enterprise architecture, business analysis, and requirements definition.\nActing as the critical link between clients and delivery teams, this role will translate complex and often ambiguous business challenges into structured, actionable workstreams, whilst ensuring a high-quality project outcome.\nBeyond project delivery, you'll develop and mentor team members, build trusted client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the practice through business development and thought leadership activities.\nKey responsibilities:\nLead Impactful Client Engagements\nDeliver technology advisory projects from strategy through to execution, ensuring exceptional client outcomes.\nSolve complex business challenges and translate them into practical, actionable solutions.\nManage project delivery, quality, budgets and risks to keep engagements on track.\nShape Technology and Data Strategies\nPartner with clients to develop technology strategies, transformation roadmaps and business cases.\n\nHelp organisations unlock more value from their data through effective governance and improved data capabilities.\nProvide trusted advice on technology architecture, operating models, governance and sourcing.\nDrive Business Transformation\nWork closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, improve processes and define requirements.\nDesign future-state solutions that support business goals and long-term growth.\nGuide organisations through technology-enabled change and transformation initiatives.\nBuild Relationships and Grow the Practice\nDevelop trusted relationships with client stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor.\nSupport business development through proposals, presentations and identifying new opportunities.\nRepresent BDO in client meetings, workshops and leadership forums.\nLead and Develop People\nCoach and mentor consultants, helping them grow their skills and careers.\nFoster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.\nContribute to practice development through knowledge sharing, innovation and continuous improvement.\nAbout You\nWe're looking for a strategic thinker who can solve complex business and technology challenges that can influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.\nCombined with:\nExperience in technology advisory, strategy or transformation consulting is essential\nTertiary qualification in information technology, business, engineering, commerce or a related discipline.\nDemonstrated delivery across at least two of the four core areas (IT strategy, data governance, architecture, requirements and process), with genuine depth in at least one.\nTrack record of leading workstreams and supervising junior team members.\nExperience working across multiple industries or the demonstrated ability to move between unfamiliar sectors quickly.\nWorking knowledge of enterprise technology landscapes - ERP, HCM, CRM, integration platforms, cloud and data platforms.\nCompetence in process modelling notation (BPMN or equivalent) and requirements management practice.\nStrong command of Microsoft 365, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Visio, Lucidchart or similar modelling tools.\nExposure to large-scale technology implementations, program assurance or vendor selection would be highly desirable\nWhy BDO?\nWorking for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.\nOur national and global footprint provides our people with opportunities to work on interesting client engagements, across diverse industry sectors and services.\nOur open and collaborative culture ensures access to Partners and professional mentors, to guide and accelerate your professional career, across a wide array of career pathways.\nWe provide our people with various health and wellbeing, social, financial, and professional development benefits to help realise what’s possible.\nParticipate in fitness challenges or take advantage of exclusive discounts to corporate health insurance, gym memberships and wellness facilities via our BWell program.
