The role involves reviewing financial accounts, coordinating with clients and the BDO network, managing team workload, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies while maintaining strong client satisfaction.\n\nRole and responsibilities\nManage a portfolio of overseas clients in a variety of industries. \nReview and deliver high quality management and statutory accounts. \nEnsure all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner. \nWork closely with BDO network to ensure that accounting records are accurate and transactions and activity within the portfolio are understood and incorporated into the disclosures as appropriate. \nManage the account payables cycle and conduct payment runs as and when requested by the clients.\nLiaise with clients to ensure efficient delivery of output and meet client service expectations. \nDelegate and assign tasks to team members effectively, monitor and control workload of team members as well as chargeable hours. \nBe aware of risk exposure and promptly escalate issues arising to other members of the Management team. \nAssist in new processes and system implementation when required.\nTake ownership of various aspects of team management including, inter alia, leaves management, personal and professional development of team members. \nManage within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high level of client satisfaction.\nPost invoices accurately on different accounting platforms.\nAdhere to all Risk & Compliance procedures in line with company and the client's expectations. \nAdhere to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and Data Protection Act.\nEnsure project reports and SLA& KPI (Key Performance Indicators) are updated.\n\nQualification and Experience \nDiploma in Accounting or equivalent.\nPartly qualified ACCA.\nAt least 2-3 years of experience in Auditing and/or Accounting.\nHolds relevant experience in leading teams.\nExperience with CaseWare would be advantageous.\n\nSkills & Competencies\nTechnical Skills\nDemonstrate excellent knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and UK GAAP.\nMaintain strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.\nUnderstand bookkeeping transactions and financial accounts preparation.\nApply knowledge of month-end adjustments and variance analysis.\nAwareness of GDPR and data protection principles.\n\nBehavioral Competencies\nStrong leadership and people management skills.\nCommunicate effectively and manage stakeholders with confidence.\nWork efficiently under pressure and across multiple time zones.\nOrganize tasks with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\nMaintain a proactive mindset and work autonomously.\nExpress
