In addition, the Valuation & Capital Markets Analytics Director will be charged with leading business development activities and appraisal reviews.\nJob Duties:\nPerforms related company, industry and economic research \nAnalyzes client financial statements\nConstructs financial models\nAssesses operational profitability and financial conditions\nDevelops and reviews cash flow forecasts\nPerforms benchmark analysis\nDocuments and maintains all appropriate aspects of work product\nComposes narrative reports in support of valuation analyses\nPrepares necessary exhibits and memos in illustration of complex issues\nEnsures quality controls are adhered in association with all work products\nParticipates in internal and external client meetings\nAssists and provides guidance to peers and staff members in the development of project plans and timelines for deliverables\nOther duties as required\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nSupervises the day-to-day workload of Valuation & Business Analytics Senior Managers and Managers on assigned engagements and reviews work product \nEnsures Senior Managers and Managers are proficient on all relevant valuation databases and models.\nEvaluates the performance of Senior Managers and Managers and assists in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development\nDelivers periodic performance feedback and completes performance evaluations for Senior Managers and Managers\nActs as Career Advisor to Senior Managers and Managers, as appropriate\nQualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, required \nMaster’s in Business Administration (MBA), preferred\nExperience:\nTen (10) or more years of Real Estate business valuation experience in a Big 4 or national valuation firm environment, most recently in a management capacity, required\nSignificant experience in business valuation and intangible assets, required\nPrior experience in tax and financial reporting valuation, required\nTrack record of generating new business, required\nLicense/Certifications:\nCPA, CFA, AM, ASA or other valuation industry credentials, preferred \nSoftware:\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word, required\nPrior experience with Capital IQ and/or Bloomberg, preferred \nOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nSuperior verbal and written communication skills\nSuperior analytical and research skills \nSolid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details\nAbility to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment\nProven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously\nCapable of effective managing a team of valuation professionals and delegating work assignments as needed\nCapacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel \nAbility to encourage team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel\nExecutive presence and ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements\nAbility to successfully interact with professionals at all levels\nAbility for intermittent travel within the US and internationally required\nIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.\nNational Range: $190,000 -
