The Procurement Manager partners closely with IT, Information Security, Finance, Legal, and the Supplier Onboarding & Governance function to enable technology strategy, optimize cost, reduce vendor risk, strengthen governance, and deliver a consistent stakeholder experience, while also leading and developing a team of procurement professionals.\nJob Duties:\nStrategic IT Partnership & Decision Rights\nServes as a dedicated strategic partner to IT, translating technology priorities into sourcing strategies and commercial outcomes that support the firm's technology roadmap and service objectives\nOperates within clearly defined decision rights: IT owns technology strategy, architecture, business and technical requirements, demand planning, asset lifecycle decisions, and service outcomes; Procurement owns sourcing discipline, competitive processes, commercial negotiations, and contracting workflow\nCoordinates supplier governance responsibilities with the Supplier Onboarding & Governance leader, with this role accountable for technology-category performance, commercial obligations, and IT stakeholder alignment\nSoftware & SaaS Sourcing\nLeads sourcing and renewal negotiations for enterprise software licensing\nNegotiates SaaS agreements covering pricing models, user tiers, consumption terms, auto-renewal clauses, and exit provisions\nEvaluates licensing structures (subscription, perpetual, consumption-based) to optimize total cost of ownership\nCloud & Infrastructure Sourcing\nManages sourcing and contract negotiations for cloud service providers\nSources hardware, end-user devices, telecom, network, data center, infrastructure, and other technology services to support the firm's technology roadmap\nVendor Governance & Spend Analytics\nEstablishes and maintains IT vendor governance frameworks, including vendor scorecards, performance reviews, and risk tiering\nDevelops and maintains technology spend analytics and reporting to identify savings opportunities, contract consolidation, and budget variances\nPartners with Information Security on cybersecurity procurement and software asset management (SAM), including license compliance, entitlement reconciliation, and audit readiness\nContract Negotiation\nLeads negotiation of complex MSAs, SOWs, and amendments, coordinating with Legal on risk allocation, data protection, service levels, and indemnification terms\nDrafts and negotiates terms related to service level agreements (SLAs), limitation of liability, termination rights, and data security/privacy obligations\nProcess Transformation & People Management\nLeads process transformation and end-to-end redesign of IT procurement workflows - intake, sourcing, contracting, and renewal management - to improve cycle time, controls, and stakeholder experience\nExecutes procurement deliverables within the supplier onboarding workflow, ensuring sourcing, commercial, contracting, due diligence, and approval requirements are completed accurately and on time\nCollaborates with IT to establish and maintain renewal and asset lifecycle management processes, including demand planning, utilization review, commercial planning, and timely renewal or exit decisions\nDevelops, implements, and adheres to service level agreements for procurement cycle time, responsiveness, and stakeholder experience; monitor performance and drive continuous improvement\nEvaluates and implements procurement technology (source-to-pay, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics tools) to support the redesigned processes\nServes as an escalation point for vendor disputes, service failures, and contract non-compliance\nTeam Leadership & Development\nProvides functional leadership, workload prioritization, and governance oversight for IT sourcing, technology contracts, vendor management, software licensing, and technology spend management\nManages, coaches, and develops a team of procurement professionals, setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and building bench strength\nLeads and develops onshore and offshore procurement teams while supporting stakeholder alignment, issue resolution, training, and change management related to technology procurement, vendor governance, and procurement process improvement\nOther duties as required\nQualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree required; focus in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or Finance, preferred \nMBA or relevant advanced degree, preferred\nExperience:\nEight (8) or more years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management required, with at least \nFive (5) or more years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management focused specifically on IT/technology categories, preferred\nDemonstrated experience negotiating enterprise software, SaaS, and cloud agreements, required\nExperience negotiating complex MSAs and SOWs with outside counsel or in-house legal support, required\nProfessional services, accounting, or similarly regulated industry experience, preferred\nLicense/Certifications:\nCertified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or similar procurement certification, preferred\nSoftware:\nProficiency with procure-to-pay and contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms, spend analytics tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), required\nOther Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:\nHands-on fluency across IT asset management, software licensing, cloud consumption, cybersecurity, technology architecture, privacy, and complex technology commercial models\nStrong working knowledge of software asset management (SAM) and license compliance practices\nWorking knowledge of cybersecurity procurement considerations, including data security, privacy, and third-party risk requirements\nExcellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor relationship management skills\nAbility to lead cross-functional process redesign initiatives and manage change across stakeholder groups\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present spend analytics and vendor performance to leadership\nProven ability to manage, mentor, and develop procurement staff\nIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.\nNational Range: $130,000 -
