Assist in the development, mentoring, career guidance for other IT staff.\nJob Duties:\nBuilds working relationship with key stakeholder groups\nSeeks out knowledge and understanding of the key business activities, systems, software, and processes within assigned focus area\nWorks with stakeholders to understand problems, needs, and enhancements\nProduces specifications for new or modified systems through collaboration with business users and other IT staff\nDocuments requirements using standard templates, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes\nWorks with other IT staff to produce new systems and software\nResearches and evaluates emerging technologies and software solutions for their application to the Firms business needs\nPerforms build versus buy evaluations of software systems and software\nOversees the implementation of new systems and software\nProvides reference documentation of systems and software\nPlans and facilitates the validation and testing for new systems, software, and enhancements\nFacilitates the knowledge transfer and hand off of new systems and software to the Operational support team\nCreates and maintains project and resource plans to successfully implement the most complex IT projects\nProactively identifies and mitigates project risks\nMaintains and controls projects through oversight, influence, and communication\nDevelops and executes communication plans for projects that include weekly status reports and project change requests\nFacilitates the rollout, documentation, training, and communication to end users affected or impacted by IT projects\nPlans, maintains, and controls project budgets\nProvides input to the development and maintenance of portfolio and product roadmaps\nCoordinates and manages vendors and vendor resources engaged for project-based initiatives\nOther duties as required\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nDirects others as part of the project management process, but does not have any direct reports\nProvides on the job training and guidance o subordinate Business Systems Analysts\nQualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or GED, required\nBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Management Information Systems, preferred\nExperience:\nFive (5) or more years of experience in the information technology field, required\nExposure to relational database concepts, required \nExperience as a Software Developer or Analyst, preferred\nPrior experience working within a professional service firm or military, preferred \nPrior experience in a leadership role, preferred\nLicense/Certifications:\nProject Management or Agile certifications, preferred\nIIBA certifications, preferred\nSoftware:\nHands on experience working with one (1) or more of the following software systems, preferred: Oracle PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Services Automation, Oracle PeopleSoft HRMS, Oracle Business Intelligence, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint, CCH ProSystemFX, CaseWare, Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite, Thomson Reuters GoFileRoom, Kentico or other Content Management Systems\nLanguage:\nN/A\nOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nProven record of effective leadership, including the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, build teams and consensus, get things done through others not directly under his/her supervision, and work ethically and with integrity\nExcellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills\nCapacity to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple complex projects/tasks\nCapable of successfully multi-tasking while working independently or within a group environment\nDemonstrated problem solving skills\nCapacity to utilize experience, technical knowledge and business sense to resolve issues and questions, along with plan and accomplish project/task goals\nCapable of facilitating meetings efficiently and effectively\nAbility to develop process documentation using diagrams and prose based on customer collaboration\nIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.\nNational Range: $110,000 -
