This position requires US Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance.\n(Military Veterans and HUBZone candidates are highly encouraged to apply)\nRole Overview:\nWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our DOJ team as we continue providing support to modification projects upgrading, working sites and enhancing our capabilities.\nResponsibilities:\nDefines and documents business processes using standard methodologies and tools.\nAbility to understand the IT application and the business needs of the clients.\nAbility to translate the client’s business needs to specific application, operational, and non-functional requirements.\nAbility to document and analyze the required information and data.\nAbility to work with the technical team and the end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.\nDemonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.\nTranslates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel. \nPossesses strong analytical skills.\nAbility to analyze user procedures.\nDefines system objectives and features. \nElicits, analyzes, verifies and specifies system requirements and business rules.\nAssists in identifying testing requirements and performing application testing.\nWorks closely with technical staff to develop and implement the system.\nConducts gap analysis.\nRequired Minimum Qualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in operations research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cost Accounting or related scientific or technical discipline. \nExperience in the effective use of data provided by cost estimators to create overall cost versus benefit assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns.\nMinimum 5 years’ experience\nActive TS clearance\nCSM Certification\nMicrosoft Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau dashboard development experience\nExperience with SQL-based RDBMS\nExperience with ETL, data prep, data quality, data cleansing, data normalization techniques\nClient-facing communication skills\nAbility to develop efficient data models for use in BI applications\nAbility to meet moderate level background check or higher\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nThe compensation range for this position is $90,000-105,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.\nIn addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance.
