Develops secure, modern applications primarily using C#, .NET Core, Blazor, and Razor Pages, with React or modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks for front-end interfaces.\nPosition will be on-site to one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Falls Church, or Tacoma, WA.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain secure, restricted web applications.\nImplement C#, .NET Core, Razor Pages, Blazor components.\nBuild modern, maintainable front-end components using JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.\nIntegrate REST APIs and backend data services.\nUtilize Entity Framework Core for data access.\nManage and configure SQL Server databases.\nWork with IIS/Windows Server environments.\nTroubleshoot full-stack issues across UI, API, and database layers.\nRemediate SAST/DAST findings and ensure application security.\nSupport OIDC/OAuth authentication (e.g., Login.gov integration).\nWrite unit and integration tests and support CI/CD workflows.\nParticipate in code reviews and collaborate within SAFe Agile.\nApply AI-assisted development responsibly.\nQualifications Required:\nMinimum of 8 years with BS/BA; 12 years of experience with a high school diploma.\nStrong experience developing and maintaining web applications using C# and .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core.\nExperience with modern front-end web development, including JavaScript and/or TypeScript, component-based application design, state management, and integration with RESTful APIs.\nExperience working with SQL Server or other relational databases, including developing and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, table and column definitions, and other database objects.\nExperience designing and maintaining applications within an established architecture, including use of shared development patterns, reusable components and services, appropriate service boundaries, and maintainable database access patterns.\nAbility to troubleshoot full-stack application issues across the user interface, application/API layer, database, and hosting environment; identify root causes; and evaluate the potential impact of proposed changes.\nExperience with Git-based development workflows, including branching, merge/pull requests, resolving merge conflicts, peer code review, and automated build or test processes.\nDemonstrated ability to independently carry development tasks from requirements clarification through implementation, testing, code review, remediation of feedback, and completion.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proactively identify and communicate technical questions, blockers, risks, and implementation considerations.\nAbility to participate constructively in peer code reviews, explain technical decisions, evaluate alternative approaches, receive feedback, and incorporate lessons learned into future work.\nAbility to document technical decisions and share knowledge with other developers and project team members.\nExperience developing secure web applications and applying secure coding practices.\nExperience using AI-assisted software development tools while maintaining responsibility for reviewing, validating, testing, and understanding generated code.\nMust be U.S. Citizen\nAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearance\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with React and TypeScript, ASP.NET Core Razor Pages, Razor Components, Blazor, or comparable modern web application frameworks.\nExperience with Entity Framework Core or similar object-relational mapping technologies.\nFamiliarity with hosting and troubleshooting ASP.NET Core applications in Microsoft IIS and Windows Server environments.\nExperience identifying and remediating web application security vulnerabilities, including findings from SAST and DAST scanning tools.\nFamiliarity with common authentication and authorization concepts, standards, and technologies.\nExperience with Section 508 accessibility requirements and development of accessible web applications.\nFamiliarity with DoD/DHA cybersecurity requirements, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, security documentation, and vulnerability remediation.\nCurrent CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability and willingness to obtain the certification within the required timeframe.\nCurrent DoD/DHA Common Access Card (CAC) or prior experience working within DoD/DHA environments.\nAbility to work independently while remaining aligned with team architecture, development standards, and broader application objectives.\nCollaboration Expectations:\nTakes ownership end-to-end, including requirements, development, testing, and delivery.\nCommunicates proactively, raises blockers early, and provides clear status.\nWorks independently while staying aligned with team direction.\nParticipates constructively in code reviews and applies feedback.\nShares knowledge, documents decisions, and helps teammates.\nThe compensation range for this position is $85,000-110,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.\nIn addition, U.S Citizenship is required.
