In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to develop user-facing features and contribute to production systems. You’ll grow your iOS expertise while working on real-time, safety-critical applications that advance flight safety and operational efficiency.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS frameworks.\n\nWork with senior engineers to build and maintain reliable, high-performance mobile applications.\n\nIntegrate with internal and external APIs to support real-time data and application functionality.\n\nCollaborate with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive, user-friendly mobile experiences.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and follow established iOS best practices and architectural patterns.\n\nHelp ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing and documentation.\n\nWhat Will Make You Successful\n2+ years of experience developing iOS applications, or equivalent experience through internships, projects, or coursework.\n\nExperience with Swift and SwiftUI, with some exposure to UIKit and common iOS frameworks.\n\nFamiliarity with asynchronous programming concepts such as async/await, multithreading, or GCD.\n\nBasic experience working with networking, APIs, or real-world data sources.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn from feedback and mentorship.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.\n\nBonus Points\nPassion for aviation and a desire to improve air travel efficiency and safety.\n\nExposure to mapping or spatial frameworks such as Mapbox or MapKit.\n\nInterest in real-time data, sensors, or hardware-adjacent systems.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD workflows or cloud-backed mobile systems.\n\nWork Location\n This is a hybrid role based in San Carlos, CA, with 3+ days per week onsite and the option to work remotely on remaining days.\nPerks & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)\nHealthcare: 100%* of employee medical premiums covered; 25% for dependents\n\nTime Off: 3 weeks PTO plus 13+ paid company holidays\n\n401(k): Offered (no current employer match, but we are committed to enhancing this benefit in the future)\n\nDue to U.S. export control regulations, we can only hire U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status).
