About the Role
The Assistant Operation Managerwill help move the operations team forwardusing sound management techniques and create an environment of success and positive reinforcement.Helping department managersand teams succeed in their daily tasks and ensuring timelydelivery of services while maintaininga constant focus on safety are of paramount importance to the Assistant Manager role.
Responsibility Profile:
Ensure teams know their assigned job duties and responsibilities on a daily basis.
Provideopen communication to team members for transparency and mutual understanding.
Help employees be successful in completing their daily tasks.
Providesupport to other managers, dispatchers, drivers, attendants, and other employees.
Train employees on new programsas necessary.
Providefeedback and coaching as necessary to ensure employees remainsafe and compliant.
Analyze reports and data to ensure accuracy.
Attend meetings, conferences, and company eventsas necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Three(3) yearsof transportation workingexperienceor equivalent.
- Must obtain a class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger. We will cover all costs to obtain.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma.
- Knowledge of DOT and Safety regulations preferred.
