These positions ensure the safety and comfort of students during their commute, adhering to all safety protocols and providing assistance as needed.\nPay Rate & Benefits:\n$16.00 Per hour\n\nPayment: Paid weekly via direct deposit\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAides are required to sit in the back of the vehicle with students.\n\nLoad and unload students as required.\n\nBe knowledgeable and attentive to the unique needs of the students.\n\nCommunicate effectively with school staff, students, and caregivers.\n\nInstall and secure students in all approved child safety restraints.\n\nLearn the route to direct a substitute driver if needed.\n\nAttend all mandatory trainings.\n\nAddress child safety and behavioral concerns while the vehicle is in motion.\n\nAssist students with special needs, including those in wheelchairs or with mobility challenges, in boarding and exiting the vehicle.\n\nFollow designated routes and schedules for timely pickups and drop-offs.\n\nEnsure the safety of all passengers, using safety equipment and securing students when necessary.\n\nMaintain clear communication with school staff, parents, and supervisors.\n\nMaintain a clean, safe vehicle and report any issues for repair or maintenance.\n\nQualifications:\nPatience, empathy, and strong communication skills.\n\nAbility to pass a criminal background check, Child Abuse History Clearance and any required certifications per our School Districts\n\nHigh school or equivalent (Required)\n\nShifts:\nMonday - Friday (Only) Day Time\n\nMust Be Available to Work between 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM\n\nNo Night / No Weekends or Major Holidays\n\nShifts: Drivers will work two Shifts in per day (Split Shift/ Swing Shift)\n\nAM Shift: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM\nPM Shift: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM\n6 - 8 Hours Per Day / 30 - 40 Hour Work Week\nExpected hours: 30 - 40 per week\nWhy Join Us?\nWeekly pay via direct deposit.\n\nNo Nights or Weekends, or Major Holidays\n\nRetiree’s Encouraged to apply.\n\nOpportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of special needs students.\n\nBeacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
