A CDL license is a plus, but if you don't have one, we offer FREE CDL training to help you get started!\nWhat We Offer:\nFlexible Schedule: Split shift with morning and afternoon shifts\nGuaranteed Hours: 25-30 hours per week\nPAID CDL TRAINING\n$5000 Sign-on Bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses with P & S endorsements\n Starting Pay Rate for Van Drivers: $25.34/hour (Must have CDL A, B or C with P and S Endorsement to qualify)\nEarned Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay\n 401(k) with company match\nCompany-Paid Life Insurance\nOptional Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance\nJob Responsibilities:\nOperate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school safely and on time.\nMonitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.\nComply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as district requirements and standards.\nPerform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.\nAssist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.\nJob Requirements:\nMust be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.\nPossess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or willingness to obtain through our free training).\nAbility to pass a drug test, physical exam, background check, and maintain compliance with state and federal CDL guidelines.\nNon-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and complete CDL permit training.\nAbout WE Transport:\nSince 1959, WE Transport has been a leading provider of school transportation services across Long Island.
