This position will manage an annual revenue of $15M+, 200+ drivers, 400+ daily routes, 250+ vehicles, dual service, possible remote lots, and 4-6 Transportation Coordinators.\nAbout the Role\nServe as the primary contact to the school districts and ensure strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the school districts.\n\nEffective and frequent communication with staff ensures employees have available resources to meet the daily operational task successfully.\n\nPartners with safety leaders to establish and maintain a ‘safety-first’ culture.\n\nDaily, weekly, and monthly review of key operational metrics.\n\nInterview, hire, and train new transportation coordinators/supervisors.\n\nIdentify and cultivate a pipeline of internal talent for next-level positions.\n\nPrepare monthly work schedules.\n\nMaintain appropriate staffing levels for drivers and monitors by driving a positive work culture.\n\nEnsure all employees have proper certifications, training, and licensing.\n\nWork with fleet maintenance to keep vans and buses operational and safe.\n\nReview and prepare billing and payroll each month.\n\nAbout You - The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience to positively impact the lives of children in your community by providing mobility without limits.\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in operations management, business administration, or related field.\n\n5+ years of progressive work experience in a fast-paced environment\n\nManagement of hourly staff, and responsible for managing metrics.\n\nProficient experience in the use of Microsoft Office.\n\nMaintain a good driving record and enjoy working in an environment that is 100% committed to supporting our students.\n\nSelf-motivated, show initiative and have a strong work ethic.\n\nMust be comfortable with early-morning hours.\n\nExhibit strong leadership skills and can successfully supervise and direct teams.\n\nEffective customer service and conflict resolution skills.\n\nMust be detail-oriented and like solving problems.\n\nMaintain a very high standard of accuracy and confidentiality.\n\nMust show ‘grace under pressure during extremely busy times.\n\nIf you are ready to become part of our family and positively impact the lives of children in your community, then this is the position for you.\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year\nBeacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
