We are committed to fostering critical and curious thinkers dedicated to transforming society into a more ethical and peaceful one in the 21st century.\nWe are seeking a dedicated IB Diploma Program (DP) Coordinator to join our High School leadership team.\nThe DP Coordinator oversees the IB Diploma Program curriculum from Year 10 through Year 12, serving as an instructional leader to steer the school’s efforts toward delivering consistently high-quality learning experiences. The ideal candidate will cultivate an inclusive environment in which diversity is welcomed, academic excellence is pursued, and students learn to demonstrate leadership and take ownership of their actions. Working closely with peers across the school, the DP Coordinator ensures a coherent and connected learning continuum and seamless curricular integration between the IB DP and the Brazilian National develop the program.\nMaintain a visible, approachable presence that models positive leadership throughout the school.\nFoster a constructive and professional culture of learning.\nGuide and supervise the work of the ToK, Extended Essay, and CAS Coordinators and supervisors.\nLead and support Area Leaders and external consultants in curriculum-related matters.\nOrganize and deliver curriculum orientation for new staff members, and for students and parents as needed.\nBuild teachers’ professional capacity through coaching, mentoring, modeling inquiry-based learning, and active participation in appraisal and professional development processes.\nTake an active role in the school’s short- and long-term strategic planning projects.\nLead the collection and analysis of data on student achievement, including the regular analysis and reporting of DP data (predicted grades, final grades, subject-level trends, cohort comparisons) to the Board, the leadership team, and the faculty.\nIn collaboration with the school’s leadership, set and monitor DP-related targets (e.g., pass rate, average points, core element completion rates) as part of the school’s strategic plan.\nShow commitment to the wider IB community by engaging with other schools and organizations.\nDesign and implement systems and processes to recognize and promote student success within the school and the broader community.\nLead and contribute to meetings and school-wide initiatives.\nCurriculum\nCoordinate and document the curriculum in alignment with the IB Program Standards and Practices.\nServe as the main liaison with the IBO and maintain records of all correspondence with IB offices.\nCommunicate with the IB regional office regarding programme evaluation visits and ensure thorough preparation for any IB visits.\nEnsure the school meets all IB deadlines and complies with IB regulations.\nActively lead and pursue IB course approvals, subject offers, and any changes to the DP course matrix.\nCollaborate with the PYP and MYP IB Coordinators to support clear articulation across programmes.\nLead and work with the High School Leadership Team to strengthen reporting on student learning.\nSupport teachers in designing assessment tasks and tools that align with the Assessment Policy.\nEstablish clear systems to inform and support students, teachers, and families regarding requirements for those not pursuing the full IB Diploma.\nLead the curricular components of the Year 9 to Year 10 transition process for students.\nCollaborate with the High School leadership team and Area Leaders on the curricular integration between the Brazilian National Curriculum and the DP.\nWork closely with Area Leaders to ensure curricular field trips are well planned, relevant, and effectively executed.\nFacilitate parent learning workshops.\nStudent Wellbeing\nCollaborate with the Student Wellbeing (SWBC) team to ensure student wellbeing is embedded in curriculum design and expectations, and to support and mentor students who need additional attention.\nCounsel students as they select subjects for the IB Diploma and continue this guidance throughout the programme, ensuring all student information related to DP choices is accurately recorded and kept up to date.\nEnsure the University Counseling (UCC) team has access to all necessary information to support their work with students.\nLead on matters of student academic integrity and take appropriate action to uphold and support student, teacher, and school policies and procedures.\nOrganization\nAdvise on and organize appropriate professional development opportunities related to the DP.\nStructure and lead the process for Year 10 students to select their subject choices.\nOrganize and lead all DP internal and external assessment processes, including the administration of mock examinations, internally and externally assessed components, and formal end-of-program examinations.\nTake responsibility for exam security and confidentiality in line with IB regulations.\nWork with Area Leaders and teachers to ensure moderation of assessment tasks occurs where required.\nEstablish an assessment calendar with clear deadlines and make it accessible to the school community.\nKeep the leadership team, faculty, and parents informed about DP implementation and development.\nPlan, facilitate, and support Area Leaders in curriculum development meetings, the curriculum review cycle, and the assessment timeline.\nMonitor the resourcing of teaching and learning and ensure resources are used effectively.\nEnsure the DP handbook and other relevant handbooks are current and accurate.\nWith relevant leaders, maintain oversight of key academic policies (e.g., Academic Integrity Policy, Assessment Policy, Language Policy, etc.) as they relate to the DP.\nLead and help organize special events as appropriate- such as Open Houses, parent-teacher conferences, and parent workshops- in collaboration with assistant coordinators, coordinators, and teachers.\nCommunicate IB examination results, diplomas, and certificates to students, including being available when IB results are published and for the week thereafter.\nBe available for additional duties and class cover as needed.\nRequisitos e qualificações\nHigher education degree.\nDesirable post-graduate degree in Education or similar.\nExperience in IB schools, specifically with Diploma Programme (must hold certifications).\nExperience in leading and guiding teams of teachers.\nFluent English (C1 or C2 certification is
