This is just the beginning.\nAbout the role\nWe're looking for a Content Creator to own our social media presence. You’ll live and breathe social, know how to tell a story visually, and turn what's already happening across the business into great content.\nYou’ll be primarily focused on creating a strong employer brand, but you’ll also be exploring additional community-focused content around Beam’s mission to make frontline support accessible to all.\nYour main channel will be video and photography, but you’ll be a decent writer, willing to create blog posts and other collateral if that’s the best way to tell the story.\nWhat you'll do\nLead on employer brand content - showing what it's actually like to work at Beam\n\nOwn the social media content calendar across all channels, pulling in content from the wider team (storytellers, sales, leadership)\n\nShoot and edit photography and video at events, in the office, and on site visits\n\nPlan and produce content that can also be used for paid social, not just organic posts\n\nKeep a consistently high bar - scrappy and fast-moving, but never low-quality\n\nSupport senior leadership's personal content/LinkedIn presence\n\nWork with internal teams to source stories sensitively and with the appropriate level of sign off, especially where social workers and their clients are concerned\n\nFlag or fix any inconsistencies in tone or messaging before things go out (with support from your manager)\n\nWhat you'll bring\nA genuine social media obsession. You’ve built social audiences from scratch, either for yourself, or on behalf of a company.\n\nStrong photography and videography skills. You can turn out sharp, engaging content quickly.\n\nOperational rigor. You can manage a calendar and keep multiple moving pieces on track, not just make things look nice.\n\nA self-starter mentality. You’re comfortable getting yourself into rooms (conferences, events, site visits), finding people to interview and running interviews.\n\nGood judgment around sensitive content and when to check before posting.\n\nA sharp eye for what's working vs. what's filler.
