We're backed by Y Combinator, Tiger Global, and prominent developer-tool founders, including the founder of Snyk and former CTO of GitHub.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re hiring a Product Engineer to own the developer experience built on top of our infrastructure. That means the SDK, CLI, API, and dashboard that developers use every day. You’ll ship features end to end, from talking with customers to writing the backend service and designing UIs that are delightful to use. You’ll also work closely with the team building the runtime underneath.\nWhat you’ll work on:\nBuilding and shipping features across our Python SDK, CLI, API, and web dashboard\nDesigning a first-class experience for agents and humans\nMaking the path from sign-up to first deployed workload as fast and painless as possible\nTurning low-level capabilities into simple, intuitive product surfaces. These include things like mountable NVME drives, GPU checkpoint/restore, lazy-loaded images, and multi-cloud scheduling\nWorking directly with customers to understand how they use Beam and how we can spark joy for them\nImproving usage, billing, and observability so developers always know what’s running and what it costs\nSkills & Experience\nYou’ve built and shipped a product end-to-end (big plus if it involved developer tools)\nExperience with a statically typed language like Go, TypeScript, or Rust (preferred)\nComfort with distributed systems and cloud-native tooling like Kubernetes, gRPC, and Terraform.
