This role is responsible for administration, configuration, enhancement, and support of our LabVantage platform, including the Laboratory Execution System (LES), Scientific Data Management System (SDMS), external instrument/system integrations, and supporting laboratory automation technologies. \nThe successful candidate will partner closely with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, Validation, and laboratory scientists to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient digital laboratory solutions supporting Beam's GMP and non-GMP operations. This position requires a strong combination of technical expertise, laboratory process knowledge, and system administration experience in regulated environment.\nResponsibilities: \nLaboratory Systems Administration \nAdminister and support Beam's LabVantage LIMS environment.\nConfigure and maintain master data including products, specifications, parameter lists, methods, workflows, and laboratory configurations.\nManage user administration, security roles, permissions, and access controls.\nSupport system upgrades, patches, releases, and platform lifecycle management.\nMonitor system performance and troubleshoot application issues. \nLaboratory Execution System (LES) \nDesign, configure, and maintain electronic laboratory worksheets within LabVantage LES.\nCollaborate with QC laboratories to convert paper-based processes into electronic workflows.\nDevelop reusable worksheet templates, calculations, prompts, and review workflows.\nSupport qualification and validation activities for new LES implementations. \nSDMS and Data Management \nAdminister Scientific Data Management System (SDMS) functionality within LabVantage.\nManage instrument data collection and archival processes.\nSupport data retention, retrieval, and inspection readiness requirements.\nEnsure laboratory data integrity and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. \nInstrument Integration and Automation \nDesign, configure, and support integrations between laboratory instruments, compliant systems and LabVantage.\nSupport communication protocols, data parsing, result imports, and automated workflows.\nTroubleshoot instrument interface issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and laboratory personnel.\nParticipate in laboratory automation initiatives involving analytical instruments, liquid handlers, and associated data systems. \nAttachment Handler and Development Activities \nDevelop and maintain LabVantage Attachment Handler configurations and associated code.\nSupport file-based integrations and automated data ingestion workflows.\nCreate, maintain, and troubleshoot custom configurations and integrations.\nParticipate in system enhancement projects and implementation of new capabilities. \nCloud and Integration Support \nConfigure and support Amazon S3-based integrations for laboratory data exchange.\nCollaborate with infrastructure and integration teams to maintain secure data transfer processes.\nSupport interface monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts.\nAssist in implementation and maintenance of file-based and API-driven integrations between laboratory systems. \nBusiness Partnership and Continuous Improvement \nWork directly with QC scientists, laboratory managers, QA, and IT stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.\nGather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\nParticipate in system governance, change management, and prioritization activities.\nProvide end-user training and application support. \nCompliance and Validation \nSupport Computer System Validation (CSV) activities in accordance with Beam procedures and GAMP 5 principles.\nAuthor and review requirements, design documentation, test scripts, protocols, and SOPs.\nEnsure compliance with applicable GxP requirements, ALCOA+ principles, data integrity expectations, and 21 CFR Part 11.\nSupport internal audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries. \nQualifications: \n5+ years of experience supporting Laboratory Information Management Systems in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated laboratory environment. \n3+ years of hands-on LabVantage administration experience. \nExperience designing and implementing LabVantage LES worksheets. \nExperience supporting LabVantage SDMS functionality. \nExperience supporting file-based data exchange architectures. \nUnderstanding of laboratory operations supporting Quality Control testing. \nWorking knowledge of GMP regulations, data integrity requirements, and computerized system validation. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. \nCustomer-focused mindset with strong business partnership skills. \nAbility to translate laboratory workflows into digital solutions. \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \nCollaborative approach to cross-functional problem solving. \nContinuous improvement mindset. \nThe salary range below reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting.
