Operating at Senior Manager level, you will be accountable for end-to-end delivery quality, client relationships, team leadership, and commercial outcomes. You will act as a trusted partner to client stakeholders at Director and C-suite level, while driving a culture of excellence within BearingPoint's delivery teams. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \nAccountable for programme outcomes, end-to-end accountability for the delivery of large, complex software programmes, and client satisfaction from a technical perspective. \nLead and mentor a team of Delivery Managers, Software Architects, and engineers across multiple concurrent workstreams. \nAct as the primary escalation point from a technical perspective and trusted advisor for senior client stakeholders, proactively managing expectations and resolving delivery challenges. \nChampion Agile and Scaled Agile practices, continuously improving delivery velocity and team effectiveness.\nContribute to business development activities including bid management, proposal writing, and client presentations.\nCollaborate with Architecture and Solution Design teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with client strategy.\nDevelop and retain talent through coaching, performance management, and career development planning.\nRepresent BearingPoint's Software Development capability externally, supporting thought leadership, events, and community activities. \nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE \nEssential: \n15+ years of experience in software delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or programme management capacity. \nDemonstrable track record of delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade software programmes to major clients. \nStrong command of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, with the ability to apply pragmatically. \nProven experience managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams of 20+ people \nExceptional stakeholder management skills; comfortable engaging at C-suite and Board level. \nCommercial acumen with hands-on experience in project sizing and estimation, resource planning, and contract management input. \nStrong understanding of modern software engineering practices, any cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and enterprise architecture. \nDegree in technical discipline (Software engineering etc) \nDesirable: \nExperience in public sector, financial services, e-commerce or energy/utilities industries. \nProfessional certifications: PMP, PgMP, Agile, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent. \nPrior experience in a management and technology consultancy. \nExposure to AI/ML-enabled delivery tooling and data-driven programme reporting. \nWhy you will enjoy working at BearingPoint Ireland?\nWe work in an open and collaborative way, where new ideas are always welcome.
