Your direct manager will be Kamil Szpich.\nPrimary tasks and responsibilities include:\nDevelop and maintain Mainframe solutions supporting the Securities Trading area.\nAnalyze existing solutions and translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.\nWork with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL and MQ in the IBM z/OS environment.\nParticipate in development, maintenance, troubleshooting and incident resolution.\nContribute to regulatory and mandatory deliveries affecting Securities Trading.\nWork closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, architects, QA and other development teams.\nParticipate in code reviews and ensure high standards for software quality and maintainability.\nContribute to technical documentation and systematic knowledge sharing.\nSupport knowledge transfer and help build stronger Mainframe competence and backup within the team.\nParticipate actively in Agile events and break larger requirements into actionable development activities.\nTo succeed you will have:\nA curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.\nStrong experience developing solutions on IBM z/OS.\nSolid COBOL programming skills.\nExperience with CICS.\nExperience working with DB2.\nGood understanding of JCL.\nExperience with MQ / Message Queue.\nExperience with modern development practices including version control and code review.\nAbility to analyze complex existing Mainframe applications and understand dependencies between systems.\nFluent in English (written and spoken)\nIt’s nice-to-have:\nFamiliarity with Git/BitBucket, JIRA, API, Java, Kafka\nExperience in the financial sector\nProblem management skills (e.g., root cause or Pareto analysis)\nBe your best self with BEC's benefits!\nWe offer a diverse range of benefits for our employees.
