These solutions support essential banking processes and enable secure, compliant, and reliable document handling throughout the document lifecycle.\nAs Development Manager, you will lead a distributed team of specialists based in Denmark and Poland and manage strategic vendor relationships. Reporting to the Head of Document Lifecycle Management, you will drive delivery, ensure operational stability, and support the continued evolution of critical platforms that operate around the clock, every day of the year.\nWorking closely with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and other technology teams, you will play a key role in shaping the future of document lifecycle management at BEC.\nAt BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, while also offering the opportunity to work remotely on average up to 1 day per week.\nPrimary tasks and responsibilities:\nBe accountable for the team’s contribution to the domain roadmap and delivery against agreed objectives.\nDrive the implementation and continuous improvement of technical solutions that create value for our customers and BEC.\nDefine and maintain the delivery strategy and team setup required to deliver the team backlog effectively.\nLead the performance of people, processes, vendors, and technology, with clear roles, responsibilities, and processes across the value chain.\nBuild a culture of cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nManage and govern third-party vendors, ensuring delivery quality, performance, and alignment with business objectives.\nEnsure that development complies with BEC’s architectural principles, engineering standards, and security requirements.\nOwn the maintenance and operation of the systems and platforms within the team, including incident and problem management, service continuity, system lifecycle management, and technical debt.\nEnsure operational excellence through proactive management of audit and compliance requirements, patching, technical vulnerabilities, exceptions, and lifecycle risks.\nEnsure that solutions comply with relevant regulatory, information security, data protection, and audit requirements.\nSecure the budget, resources, approvals, competencies, and organizational support required for successful delivery.\nBuild trusted relationships with key stakeholders, gather feedback, and translate business needs into clear priorities.\nTo succeed, you will have:\nA relevant higher education, preferably within IT, finance, business, or a related field, combined with several years of experience in a similar leadership role.\nProven leadership experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams, preferably in mission-critical IT environments.\nA strong ability to set direction, develop people, create engagement, and establish clear accountability.\nA curious, open, and positive mindset, with a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.\nA solid end-to-end understanding of enterprise technology, from user-facing applications and integrations to platforms and underlying infrastructure.\nExperience driving implementation, organizational change, and measurable business value.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, technology, vendor, and leadership communities.\nA customer-focused and service-minded approach, with a commitment to stable, secure, resilient, and well-maintained solutions.\nA passion for agile values and principles, combined with the pragmatism to adapt ways of working to the team and delivery context.\nProfessional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
