Do you want to participate in the data tech transformation in BEC, soon to be Nykredit Financial Technologies?\nReporting Solutions plays a vital role in ensuring compliance of BEC’s member banks by managing a portfolio of 40+ business solutions within the business areas of Credit Risk and Finance Solutions, including several business-critical data hubs that support banks' business processes, internal reporting, and obligations in regulatory reporting.\nYou will join the Regulatory Reporting team with responsibility for both maintenance and development of a portfolio of business solutions that ensure accurate, reliable, and traceable data for our Credit Risk - Standardized Approach (SA-CR) provided by NASDAQ (Axiom), Unlikeliness to Pay, ESG, FINREP and other applications within Regulatory Reporting.\nYou will join a high-performing, cross-functional team, combining solid business knowledge with strong software engineering practices. The team works with Mainframe, Netezza, and Databricks platforms and does coding in COBOL, Java, SQL, and Python, and apply BI tools such as PowerCenter. The team is currently situated in Herning but will transition and consolidate in Roskilde and Warsaw by end of 2027.\nThis role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of BEC’s data tech transformation, using modern, Cloud-based technologies and event-driven architectures to build scalable data products to substitute for current business solutions. This will give banks easier access to trusted, consistent data, whether for self-service analytics, reporting, regulatory requirements, or operational processes.\nPrimary tasks and responsibilities include:\nManage incidents and problems effectively in close collaboration with colleagues and clients\nMaintain and develop systems, data, and platforms within the business area of Credit Risk\nEnsure stable operations through maintenance, housekeeping, and quality improvements \nDesign and maintain end-to-end data processing flows for our Credit Risk - Standardized Approach and other applications within the team\nDevelop high-quality business solutions based on business requirements in close cooperation with key stakeholders internally in BEC and clients \nCollaborate closely with Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Architects in Reporting Solutions to ensure high-quality, reliable, and well-governed data foundations \nContribute to continuous improvement of the development process and client engagement\nTo succeed you will have:\n5y+ work experience as Senior Software Engineer from Banking or financial IT\nExtensive work experience with IBM z/OS Mainframe stack (COBOL, CICS, IDz - IBM Developer for z/OS), DB2-database, JCL - Job Control Language\nExtensive programming skills in SQL\nExperience with either Java or Python and willingness to expand knowledge in these areas Preferably, work experience from the banking sector in Denmark or banks under regulations from EBA\nPreferably, work experience from the banking sector in Denmark or banks under regulations from EBA\nStrong collaboration and communication skills.\nFluency in English, written and spoken.\nIt’s nice-to-have:\nA relevant Master degree\nExperience in Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines\nPreferable experience with PowerCenter workflow development \nExperience of working in agile setups like Scrum or SAFe. \nBe your best self with BEC's benefits!\nWe offer a diverse range of benefits for our employees.
