The team oversees core customer data and services.\nThe role offers personal development, working in a Scrum team with colleagues in both Warsaw and Copenhagen, learning from senior team members with comprehensive domain knowledge, high focus on quality assurance and automation, utilizing AI tooling in all phases of the software development lifecycle and working with Java in an on-prem setup, but also in an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cloud environment. At Nykredit, we prefer to go to the office and collaborate physically, but we also could work remotely up to 8 days per month.\nYour direct manager will be Development Lead Thomas Rossen located in Copenhagen.\nPrimary task and responsibilities include:\nDevelopment of Jakarta EE and Spring Boot services\nAPI development - REST and SOAPservices\nDevelopment of event-driven architecture\nUnit, component and integration testing\nParticipation in maintenance work as rotating team responsibility\nCollaboration with the team business analysts, product owner, application architect and coordinating with other teams for incident and problem handling\nTravel activities to Copenhagen 1-2 times per year\nTo succeed you will have:\n5+ years of technical experience with Java EE, Jakarta EE, Spring or Spring Boot\nKnowledge of SQL, Hibernate, JPA or similar.\nExperience with microservice architecture\nStrong analytical skills and the interest of understanding the business domain.\nExperience or be willing to learn the new possibilities with AI and agentic development.\nA need to be a great team player by helping your colleagues succeed, share knowledge, take responsibility for team’s goals and take active part in the team’s events.\nIt’s nice-to-have experience with:\nCloud architecture & Kubernetes\nJDK 17+\nTest automation\nAI and agentic development with tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code\nKafka or other event platforms\nAPI gateways\nBe your best self with Nykredit’s benefits!\nWe offer a diverse range of benefits for our employees.
