You will lead multidisciplinary teams, take on both technical and leadership responsibilities, and contribute to the successful delivery of key projects.\nWith a strong pipeline of work ahead, you'll join a team that values innovation, expertise, and professional growth.\nAbout You\nAs an AV Consultant at Beca, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing audio-visual systems for our clients. You’ll collaborate with project teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality AV ICT solutions that enhance communication and collaboration for some high-profile developments in Singapore.\nYou will also be responsible for providing expert advice, planning and coordination of AV systems for a variety of environments including corporate, educational, hospitality, government and entertainment facilities. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of AV technologies, strong communication skills and experience in managing AV projects from concept to completion.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and Consultancy\nEngage with clients and project teams to understand AV needs and functional requirements\nSupport and develop conceptual and detailed designs for AV systems including audio, video, control, conferencing, digital signage and unified communication\nSupport in the preparation of technical specifications, drawings and design documentation\nSupport in the creation of detailed AV system design documents such as presentation decks, Bill of Materials (BOM), layout plans, schematics and technical specifications for meeting rooms, conference spaces and all other workspaces with AV requirement\nRecommend suitable AV hardware and software solutions aligned with project goals and budgets\nStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to AV systems through continuous engagements with major/key industry players.\nProject Management & Coordination\nAssist in budgeting, tender documentation and procurement support\nEvaluate vendor proposals and assist clients with tender evaluation and negotiations\nMonitor project progress and ensure timely delivery and implementation of AV solutions\nLiaise with Architects, MEP consultants, Interior Designers, IT teams, contractors and AV integrators to ensure seamless integration and installation.\nTesting Commissioning and Handover\nOversee system testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.\nPerform site inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards and local practices.\nProvide training to end users and ensure proper documentation for system operation and maintenance.\nConduct post installation reviews and resolve technical issues.\nKey Requirements\nQualifications\nDiploma or Degree in ICT/Engineering/Audio Visual or a related field.\nRelevant certifications preferred as follows:\no CTS / CTS-D / CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist - AVIXA)\no Dante Level 1-3, Crestron, Extron or AMX certifications\no Project Management (PMP) is an advantage\nWork Experiences\nMinimum 2 years of audio-visual consultancy experience or minimum 5 years related working experience in the audio-visual industry with manufacturer or System Integrator (SI) in designing and implementing AV systems\nUnderstanding of AV software, control systems, and audio processing tools\nExperience in acoustics design or stage lighting will be an advantage\nExperience in tools eq, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam or similar will be an advantage\nFamiliarity with IP networking, structure cabling and IT-AV integration will be an advantage\nKey Competencies\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nProficiency in English for technical writing and presentation\nClient-oriented, consultative and client-facing abilities\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively\nWhat we offer\n A career with Beca will provide you with:\nFlexibility & Wellbeing: We recognise that achieving a work-life balance is unique to everyone.
