Working alongside clients, and technical leads, you’ll ensure design outcomes are integrated, robust, and aligned with project objectives.\nYou will:\nLead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams across concept, preliminary, detailed design and construction stages\n\nManage design programs, scope, budgets, risks, internal and external interfaces and quality processes\n\nProvide technical guidance and drive decision making throughout all stages of design\n\nFacilitate design workshops, peer reviews and design assurance activities\n\nSupport bids and proposals, including defining design strategies and methodology\n\nContribute to the growth and capability development of Beca’s Industrial design team\n\nAbout You\nYou are a degree-qualified Process, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience in sectors such a heavy manufacturing, mining, metals processing, chemicals, or sustainable fuels. You bring strong technical expertise and a proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design delivery on complex projects.\nYou are collaborative, solutions-focused, and confident working across a range of stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. You’ll also bring:\nProven experience as a Project Engineer, Engineering Lead, or similar role on multi-disciplinary engineering projects\n\nStrong understanding of engineering design processes, inter-disciplinary coordination, problem-solving, design assurance, and quality management\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to navigate complex interfaces across disciplines, contractors, and clients\n\nStrong relationship building skills, and ability to understand and translate our client's requirements into project deliverables\n\nA passion for coaching and mentoring junior team members\n\nThis exciting opportunity will see you step into a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and continuous improvement.\nWhat we offer\nA career with Beca will provide you with:\nCareer Growth & Development: Your growth is our priority!
