If you enjoy working for an organization that values partnership, tenacity, enjoyment and cares for its people and clients, then look no further than Beca.\nResponsibilities\nIn this role, you will be responsible to:\nDeliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex Mechanical projects / multiple jobs\nWork on Mechanical projects from inception, through strategic planning and concept to detailed design planning and resourcing effectively to meet budgets and targets\nLead and manage M&E/CENEX project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes\nIdentify and implement profit maximisation and cost management strategies\nResponsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing\nAssist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants\nIn charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting\nRespond to client enquiries about technical issues in a way that maximises understanding\nDemonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills\nMentor and coach junior peers across the M&E discipline\n\nKey Requirements\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering (recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage)\nAt least 7 years relevant in Mechanical / Building Services engineering.\nExperience leading roles for design & design management of residential, commercial, institutional or mixed-used developments.\nStrong working knowledge of Singapore codes, standards, and regulations, including BCA, SCDF (Fire Code), and relevant Codes of Practice\nUnderstanding of energy-efficient mechanical systems, with exposure to Green Mark and/or LEED-certified projects highly regarded.\nCompetent user of relevant engineering software and simulation tools. \nStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, suitable for client, authority, and senior-management engagement.\nAbout Beca\nBeca is one of Asia Pacific’s largest independent advisory, design and engineering consultancies.
