Beca is an employee-owned advisory, design and engineering consultancy headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, working on infrastructure, buildings, energy, water, industrial and environmental projects. After roughly a century in operation it has grown from a family business into one of the largest independent professional services consultancies in the Asia-Pacific region, with more than 4,000 staff in about 25 offices and projects delivered in over 70 countries. It hires electrical, mechanical, seismic and transmission line engineers, resident and project engineers, ecologists, ICT and security specialists, and finance and people teams across New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia.

The Opportunity

This influential and hands-on role is ideal for someone ready to step into a leadership position and shape a high-performing office services function. The role is permanent full-time, with flexibility to consider part-time arrangements spread across five days, based in our Newcastle office.

Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, the Office Services Manager will lead the delivery of day-to-day office operations in Newcastle. This includes facilities management, front-of-house services, and providing seamless workplace experiences for employees and visitors. You will also provide support to the Corporate Services Manager and at times, the wider regional leadership team.

Your day-to-day will involve overseeing office services reception, maintaining supplier relationships, coordinating mail and couriers, providing onboarding support, meeting and event coordination, and workplace health, safety and environment (HSE) activities. You will also liaise with building management to ensure the office runs efficiently and professionally at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you need strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, along with a proactive, solutions-focused approach. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, and you take pride in delivering high standards of service.

Additionally, you enjoy building relationships across all levels of the business and creating a positive, well-supported workplace environment. A collaborative mindset, adaptability, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves will be key to your success.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and are passionate about delivering exceptional office services, we’d love to hear from you.
