Opportunity\nWe are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Industrial team in Indonesia and support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects.\nThe Project Engineer will play a key role in coordinating engineering delivery across multiple disciplines, working closely with Project Managers, discipline leads, designers, clients, vendors and contractors.\nThis role requires someone who can take ownership of day-to-day engineering coordination, proactively manage interfaces and deliverables, and drive resolution of technical and project issues to support successful project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs Project Engineer, you will:\nCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across mechanical, piping, process, civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.\nTake ownership of day-to-day engineering coordination for assigned projects or significant project workstreams.\nWork closely with the Project Manager and discipline leads to establish engineering priorities, deliverables and programmed requirements.\nManage engineering interfaces, dependencies and constraints between disciplines, vendors, contractors and the client.\nMonitor engineering progress against the project programmed and proactively identify and resolve issues affecting delivery.\nLead multidisciplinary design coordination meetings, design reviews and technical workshops.\nCoordinate technical queries, design actions, decisions and engineering risks through to resolution and close-out.\nCoordinate engineering inputs to procurement packages, technical bid evaluations, vendor documentation and equipment packages as required.\nLiaise directly with clients, contractors and vendors on engineering and project delivery matters.\nEnsure engineering deliverables are appropriately coordinated and meet project scope, quality and technical requirements.\nIdentify potential scope changes, programmed impacts and project risks and communicate these to the Project Manager.\nSupport project reporting including engineering progress, key issues, risks, upcoming activities and resource requirements.\nCoordinate engineering support during procurement, construction and commissioning where required.\nProvide guidance and support to less experienced engineers and designers within the project team.\nPromote effective collaboration across local and geographically distributed project teams.\nEnsure work is undertaken in accordance with applicable project, quality, health and safety requirements.\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nA degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Chemical or another relevant engineering discipline.\nTypically 8+ years of relevant engineering and project delivery experience, preferably within industrial, mining, minerals processing, manufacturing, energy or infrastructure projects.\nStrong experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects in a consulting, EPC or EPCM environment.\nDemonstrated experience coordinating engineering activities across multiple disciplines.\nAbility to independently manage engineering deliverables, interfaces, priorities and technical actions.\nGood understanding of the engineering project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction and commissioning interfaces.\nExperience working directly with clients, contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve technical and project delivery issues.\nStrong planning, coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively within both Indonesian and international project teams.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience delivering industrial, mining, minerals processing or other heavy industrial projects.\nExperience with brownfield engineering and managing interfaces with existing facilities.\nExperience coordinating procurement packages, technical bid evaluations and vendor documentation.\nConstruction or site-based engineering experience.\nExperience supporting construction and commissioning activities.\nExperience working with geographically distributed engineering teams and global delivery models.\nPrevious experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to junior engineers and
