We are seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence Developer with strong experience in agentic AI and software engineering to design and deliver AI-powered tools for engineering and technical teams at Beca. This hands-on role involves building production-ready software and developing AI agents, working closely with business users and data teams to turn high-value use cases into scalable solutions.
You’lladdress diverse challenges in document intelligence, automation, computer vision, and compliance, using technologies like Python, C#,LangChain, Microsoft Foundry, and Copilot Studio. The role requires end-to-end solution engineering in an agile, multi-project environment, and the ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Through this work,you’llhelp build and mature Beca’s applied AI capability, whileestablishingyourself as a well-rounded AI practitioner with deepexpertisein Agentic AI solution delivery, contributing to responsible, real-world solutions across our business.

Youbring around 5-7 years of experience across both artificial intelligence and software development, giving youa strong foundationto design and deliverend-to-endAI solutions. You enjoy applyingyour AI skillsto practical engineering and technical problems, and are motivated by delivering reliable, real-world outcomes across areas such as document intelligence, automation, reporting, and compliance support.
You have experience contributing to AI solutions from early experimentation through to deployment and continuousimprovement, andareconfidentbridging the gap between data science and software engineering. You enjoy building systems from first principles rather than relying solely on pre-configuredtools, andare comfortable developing AI-enabled applications that are robust, maintainable, and production-ready using theappropriate toolkit.You’reincreasinglyconfidenttaking ownership of larger components or end-to-end delivery of solutions.
You bring a consulting mindset - collaborative, curious, and outcome-focused. You work effectively with business users, technical specialists, and stakeholders, helping translate requirements into practical AI solutions and iterating based on feedback. You communicate clearly andare developingconfidence in explaining both machine learning concepts and engineering decisions to non-technical audiences, supporting adoption and trust in new tools across teams.
Your background includes hands-on experience with applied AI techniques such as LLM application development, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and document parsing,and multi-agent orchestration. This is complemented by strong programming capability and software engineering practices, including version control, testing, cloud environments, and CI/CD.
Exposure or experience inthe followingarehighly desirable:
Azure Cloud, in particularMS Foundry,Azure ML Studio
Microsoft AI stacks: CopilotAgents,Foundry Agents, Microsoft Agent Framework
Experience in C# basedsoftwaredevelopment,designor architecture
