With our purpose - to make everyday better, and our four values - partnership, tenacity, enjoyment and care - sitting at the heart of everything we do, we can truly realise our vision of ‘Creative people together transforming our world’.\nThe Opportunity\nAs part of our Water team, the Business Transformation team enables organisations across water, defence, government, energy and other key sectors to solve complex business challenges and deliver lasting outcomes.\nOur team combines deep consulting capability with practical delivery expertise, supporting clients and our business through organisational transformation, operating model design, business improvement, digital transformation and change management initiatives.\nWe work with Government agencies and critical infrastructure organisations to deliver complex transformation initiatives that improve services, capability and organisational performance.\nAs a result of our continued growth across Australia, we are seeking an experienced Senior Associate - Business Transformation specialist to join our Business Transformation practice in Canberra.\nThis role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver complex organisational change initiatives across a diverse portfolio of projects and clients. You will partner with senior client stakeholders to shape change strategies, manage implementation activities, build organisational capability and help realise the intended benefits of transformation programs. You are comfortable working with ambiguity, influencing diverse stakeholder groups and leading initiatives from strategy through to implementation.\nYou understand how change management contributes to strategic organisational outcomes and have demonstrated success delivering change in large-scale transformation environments.\nYou bring experience advising senior leaders through complex business and organisational transformation, coupled with strong consulting skills and a pragmatic approach to delivering measurable outcomes\nYou are recognised for your ability to:\nBuild credibility and trusted relationships with clients.\n\nTranslate business challenges into practical solutions.\n\nLead people through uncertainty and change.\n\nInfluence decision-makers at all organisational levels.\n\nBalance strategic thinking and problem solving with hands-on delivery.\n\nCommunicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.\n\nFoster collaboration and high-performing teams.\n\nExperience and Qualifications\nRelevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline. Prosci (ADKAR) or APMG Change certifications are highly regarded; complementary credentials in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are a plus.\n\nProven experience as a change leader/consultant, ideally within consulting firms or mid-to-large enterprises, delivering complex organisational and technology-enabled change.\n\nStrong understanding of contemporary change management methodologies and best practices, including impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, communications, learning, readiness, adoption and benefits tracking.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong facilitation and presentation capability; adept at producing executive-ready deliverables.\n\nAbility to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at various organisational levels; demonstrated team leadership, coaching and mentoring.\n\nDesirable: experience in public sector, water, infrastructure or regulated environments; familiarity with human-centred design/service design; comfort with data-led change metrics and reporting.\n\nMembership of relevant organisations such as the Change Management Institute or the Engagement Institute is viewed favourably.\n\nNote: Compliance with Beca values, professional ethics, HSE systems and continuous professional development is expected of all team members.\nSecurity Clearance\nGiven the nature of some of our client engagements, candidates who hold or are eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline or above) will be highly regarded.
