If you're ready to do meaningful work on hard problems, we'd love to have you join us.\nThe role\nWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, driving its design, scalability, and reliability. You are a champion of production engineering, observability and resilient distributed systems. You can’t stand sending services to production without proper instrumentation. This role is central to scaling the infrastructure that powers our critical data pipelines, providing high leverage to our Machine Learning and Robotics engineering teams. If you thrive on solving complex production problems and building highly-scalable, robust systems, this is the role for you.\nWhat you will do\nSystem Design & Operations: Design, build, and operate highly scalable, reliable systems used by all Bedrock engineering teams.\n\nCloud Infrastructure Ownership: Take full ownership of Bedrock’s cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), ensuring best-in-class security, performance, and cost efficiency.\n\nObservability Stack: Design, implement, and maintain Bedrock’s end-to-end observability stack (including monitoring, logging, and tracing).\n\nProduction Excellence: Pave the road for production engineering by developing and implementing best practices for system reliability, security, on-call rotation, and effective incident response.\n\nPerformance & Cost Optimization: Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance and optimize cloud resource consumption.\n\nWhat we are looking\nReliability Passion: A deep passion for building and maintaining reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.\n\nCloud & IaC Expertise: Strong proficiency in major cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.\n\nContainerization & Orchestration: Proven experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.\n\nObservability: Hands-on experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk, …) and techniques.\n\nTechnical Foundations: Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking concepts, database technologies, and compute infrastructure.\n\nSecurity Best Practices: Strong understanding and experience implementing security best practices in cloud environments.\n\nFast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, deal effectively with ambiguity, and take decisive ownership of challenging problems.\n\nBedrock Robotics is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nWe’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
