Currently, they're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who:
- has around 6-12 years of commercial experience
- has experience as a Backend Engineer
- is comfortable working on large, complex product systems
- is able to make independent technical decisions and understands their impact on both product and business
-has experience inbackend with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and Kafka
-is flexible in terms of technology (Java, Go, Python, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, diverse backgrounds are welcome)
The Infrastructure and The Product team build systems end-to-end. From designing data models to implementing the subtle interaction behaviors that differentiate good software from great software. It's all about delighting users with both large new features and smaller, daily product enhancements - thanks to our continuous deployment architecture and taking care of infrastructure.
Asana’s ecosystem includes a wide range of powerful apps that extend its capabilities and integrate it seamlessly into our users’ workflows. These apps help establish Asana as the shared collaboration infrastructure our customers use to get things done, spanning the full breadth of domains and departments, enabling experts on those teams to effectively share and communicate their work to the company as a whole.
In the Infrastructure team, you won’t just code - you will be an integral part of the entire product development process, from conception to post-launch reflection!
Daily tasks:
- Building and optimizing infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform
- Being responsible for a broad swath of the product, focusing on creating efficient, flexible, and scalable back-end processing logic
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners in New York City while building strong relationships with your Warsaw-based peers
- Developing clean, beautiful code and leave it better than you found it
- Growing through opportunities to stretch and learn

What you’ll need?
- 6+ years in large, well-maintained codebases building user-facing products (integration development preferred)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional partners (e.g. PM, design) and cross-timezone with partner teams
- Flexibility in terms of technology (Java, Go, Python, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, diverse backgrounds are welcome)
- Sound autonomous judgment when balancing moving quickly with producing quality, long-term maintainable code
- Appreciate productivity and care deeply about helping teams collaborate more effectively and efficiently, including your own
- Demonstrating curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making
- Excited to be a part of an inclusive culture where everyone brings the aspects of themselves to the workplace that they need to thrive.
Additional pluses: Experience in an Applied AI role.
What you’ll get?
- Salary of PLN 31,000 - 36,000 gross on CoE (Contract of Employment/Umowa o Pracę) with the option of 50% tax deductible costs for author’s rights usage in respect of applicable roles)
