During your internship, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the development of BeeX's autonomous underwater vehicles.\nYour responsibilities may include:\nAssist in designing mechanical components, mechanisms, and electronic enclosures using CAD software.\nSupport prototyping, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical and mechatronic systems.\nAssist with mechanical testing, validation, and troubleshooting of components and assemblies.\nParticipate in laboratory, workshop, and field testing, including sea trials where applicable.\nSupport firmware development and testing for embedded systems and microcontrollers.\nAssist with sensor integration, actuator testing, and hardware bring-up.\nHelp prepare engineering drawings, technical documentation, and test reports.\nSupport quality control activities and product verification testing.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product performance and manufacturability.\nPerform other engineering tasks as assigned by the team.\nDesired Qualities and Skillsets\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.\nBasic knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or equivalent.\nFamiliarity with engineering prototyping methods such as 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, or similar is an advantage.\nBasic understanding of embedded systems, sensors, actuators, or microcontrollers is a plus.\nExposure to C/C++, Arduino, STM32, or ARM-based development is advantageous.\nBasic knowledge of Python is a plus.\nFamiliarity with PCB design, wire harnessing, or electronics assembly is advantageous.\nUnderstanding of engineering testing and validation methodologies is a plus.\nFamiliarity with Git or version control tools is beneficial.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nWillingness to learn and contribute in a
