The Consultant will translate business and data requirements into practical technical solutions, own technical workstreams, lead solution design and enable L1/L2 team members through implementation.The role requires a strong combination of hands-on Snowflake expertise, data engineering, solution design, problem solving and client-facing consulting skills. The candidate should be able to independently lead a workstream from requirements through implementation while partnering with project leadership and clients.\nWe'll trust you to:\nLead the design and implementation of Snowflake-based Data Management solutions based on client requirements.\nTranslate business and data requirements into data models, technical designs, transformation logic and implementation plans.\nOwn technical workstreams end-to-end, from requirements and design through development, testing and deployment.\nLead delivery across data ingestion, transformation, data warehousing, consumption and reporting.\nApply strong hands-on knowledge of Snowflake, including Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, virtual warehouses, clustering, micro-partitioning, Time Travel and data sharing.\nDevelop and review complex SQL and Python-based data solutions.\nMake sound technical decisions around performance, scalability, data quality, maintainability and cost.\nEnable and guide L1/L2 team members through clear designs, technical direction, code/design reviews and problem resolution.\nLead technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders and clearly communicate recommendations, trade-offs and solution choices.\nLead troubleshooting of complex data and production issues and drive root-cause resolution.\nDrive appropriate testing, documentation, deployment and operational readiness for solutions.\nContribute to project planning, estimation, risk management and delivery.\nDevelop reusable technical approaches and contribute to Data Management capabilities and best practices across projects.\nMentor junior team members and contribute to capability development and recruiting.\nWork effectively with US-based clients and global teams.\nYou'll need to have:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.\n5-7 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data management or consulting.\n4+ years of strong hands-on Snowflake experience.\nStrong SQL and hands-on Python skills.\nStrong understanding of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modelling and ETL/ELT.\nProven experience designing, building and optimizing Snowflake solutions at scale.\nStrong understanding of query optimization, workload management, clustering and micro-partitioning.\nExperience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Informatica, Talend, Matillion or Fivetran.\nExperience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, Dagster or equivalent.\nFamiliarity with AWS or Azure\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and structured thinking skills.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.\nAbility to independently lead a technical workstream and remain hands-on when required.\nWillingness to support US-based clients with US working-hour overlap.\nPreferred Qualifications\nLife Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Healthcare data experience strongly preferred.\nExperience with MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance or reporting/semantic layers.\nExperience with commercial data such as customer, product, sales, claims or activity data.\nPrior consulting or client-facing experience.\nSnowflake certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise.\nExposure to Databricks/PySpark is a
