Our expert team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and highly trained behavior instructors use state-of-the-art ABA methods to teach children social, communication, play, cognitive, and self-care skills, while reducing problem behaviors. We are seeking energetic and career-minded individuals to join our team. We are currently looking to hire a full-time Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant to support the accounting team.\nResponsibilities:\nReview, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system accurately and on time.\nVerify that invoices have been reviewed and approved by the purchasing team.\nCommunicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment status, or other account-related inquiries.\nMaintain positive vendor relationships by ensuring accurate and timely resolution of issues.\nMaintain and record W-9 forms for 1099 vendors.\nReconcile company credit cards on a bi-monthly basis.\nVerify that all credit card charges are legitimate, properly coded, and supported with receipts.\nResolve credit card discrepancies and communicate with cardholders as needed.\nAssist with fixed asset tracking, leasehold improvement tracking, reimbursements, and related tasks.\nTrack and verify employee reimbursement expenses.\nRecord operating and disbursement account journal entries in Sage.\nAssist with expense analysis, regional analysis, and departmental analysis.\nTrack budgets, prepare budget vs. actual reports, and follow up with departments or regions. \nSupport internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.\nPrepare correspondence, mailings, and priority shipments for the Accounting Department.\nPerform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as required.\nMaintain organized files and records within the Accounting Department.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree required, preferred major in Accounting. \n1 to 3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred.\nAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook. \nFamiliarity with Sage is a plus. \nMust have good communication skills, both written and verbal. \nMust be sensitive to deadlines and be detail oriented. \nMust be skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data. \nApplicants must also be reliable, punctual, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced office environment.
