You will combine people leadership with delivery excellence, ensuring your team is supported, engaged, and focused on achieving high-quality outcomes.\nWorking closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering leaders, you will help translate strategic priorities into achievable plans while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and reliable service delivery.\nResponsibilities\nOwn delivery of the team's sprint and release commitments against the agreed roadmap.\nTranslate priorities set by senior leadership into sprint plans, tickets and achievable milestones.\nCoordinate day-to-day delivery across the team, managing blockers, dependencies and capacity.\nEnsure work is delivered to agreed quality, coding and testing standards.\nIdentify and flag delivery risks early, escalating where they exceed the team's control.\nTrack and report on sprint progress, velocity and delivery health to the wider DS leadership.\nLine-manage, coach and develop a team of engineers.\nAct as the delivery point of contact for the team's area of work.\nRequirements\nExperience leading engineering teams and supporting their performance, wellbeing and development.\nAbility to translate strategic priorities into clear delivery plans and executable milestones.\nExperience managing sprint delivery, release commitments, dependencies and team capacity.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to identify, assess and escalate delivery risks appropriately.\nUnderstanding of engineering quality standards, testing practices and operational excellence.\nExperience supporting recruitment, onboarding and team development activities.\nCommitment to fostering collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement.\nRisk benefit statement\nLearn more about the LexisNexis Risk team and how we work\nhere\n\nWe know your well-being and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
