In this role, you will be guiding parents and helping them find and pay for quality child care to ensure that children get the best start possible.\nWe are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in this field, administering CalWORKs or CAPP.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nInterview, enroll, and certify families for CalWORKs and/or CAPP Child Care Program \nInterview scheduled and drop-in appointments/complete necessary re-certifications \nPerform new intake orientation presentations as needed \nConduct group intake appointments as needed \nRespond to and resolve parent and provider issues \nMaintain and update family, child and program files \nProvide quality customer service for internal and external agency customers \nProvide mentorship to new or developing team members\nInput data into the computer system in an accurate and timely manner \nRespond to requests for information from the public \nTravel to co-locations and satellite Hively offices as needed \nAttend all training/technical assistance workshops \nAttend all staff meetings\nOther duties as assigned\nWhat you should bring:\nBA/BS with major coursework in social services/human development or related field (or equivalent experience)\n2+ years experience in Childcare Subsidy Programs (CAPP, CalWORKS), and proficient in one or more program and regulations\nStrong problem solving skills\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions\nExperience using Microsoft Office software and Google Suite\nKnowledge of all aspects of business office procedures\nAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing\nAbility to develop and maintain good working relationships with diverse groups of people\nBasic math skills\nStrong organizational skills\nAbility to appear for work on time\nAbility to follow directions\nAbility to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures\nFlexibility to work from other office locations as required\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nFluent in English and one or more of the following languages (Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Farsi, Korean, Pashto, Urdu, Punjabi or
