This role will also support general accounting functions, including month-end journal vouchers and account reconciliations. As a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will provide insights that shape strategic decisions around GE spend.\nThis role reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and is based in Stamford, CT on a hybrid working model. Candidates must be able to commute to Stamford three days per week.\nYour Tasks\nLead overhead (General & Administrative) cost planning and forecasting cycles with full ownership and accountability.\nServe as a strategic business partner to functional leaders across Payroll, IT, Facilities, HR, and Corporate Services through standardized monthly reviews.\nAnalyze monthly overhead spending variances against budget and forecast, identifying key cost drivers and trends.\nPrepare and post expense reclasses and journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost management, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency.\nManage cost center structures, reporting governance, and chart of accounts administration.\nReview cost allocations and expense drivers to ensure accurate departmental reporting and accountability.\nLead accounting activities related to accruals, provisions, and other balance sheet accounts.\nOwn planning, forecasting, and reporting for Other Income & Expense.\nDeliver insightful variance analysis and financial bridges versus forecast, budget, and prior year.\nProactively identify risks and opportunities and partner with business leaders to achieve financial targets.\nYour Profile\nBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred)\n3-5+ years of experience in a multinational CPG company\nStrong accounting background with deep understanding of balance sheet and income statement\nExperience managing GE/Overhead expenses and handling confidential information\nAdvanced knowledge of SAP, including CO/PA assessment cycles\nProficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential)\nStrong knowledge of internal controls and risk management\nProven ability to implement new processes and standardize reporting with stakeholder alignment\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across teams\nBase Salary Range: $118,900 - $149,100base salary\nActual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills and other factors.\n\nAt Beiersdorf, we value diversity and aim to provide equal opportunities to all of our applicants - regardless of e.g. gender, sexual identity, nationality, ethnicity, religion or ideology, disability or age.
