Join our Global Data Strategy and Solutions team to help scale the Enterprise Information Architecture capability. This role will partner closely with the Senior Director to translate strategic vision into execution, ensuring the delivery of trusted, governed, and scalable data products that support critical R&D and enterprise decision-making.\nThe Associate Director, Enterprise Information Architecture will play a key role in shaping and executing data architecture initiatives across Clinical Operations, Safety, Regulatory, and other Enterprise domains. This position will focus on operationalizing architecture standards, supporting major data programs, and advancing Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), Data Quality (DQ), and governance initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in modern data platforms and life sciences R&D processes.\nThis role has hybrid work pattern, 3 days per week from our Warsaw office with 2 days remote.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport Enterprise Information Architecture Capability\nPartner with the Senior Director to scale the Enterprise Information Architecture framework, standards, and best practices.\nAssist in defining and maintaining enterprise data domains, subdomains, and canonical data models.\nEnsure alignment of R&D data initiatives with enterprise architecture and governance standards.\nDrive Execution of Strategic Data Initiatives\nProvide architectural leadership and execution support for key programs\nTranslate business requirements into scalable and reusable data products.\nCollaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design end-to-end data solutions supporting analytics and operational use cases.\nGuide teams in adopting common data models, semantic layers, and architecture patterns.\nEnsure consistent implementation of Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers within the enterprise data platform.\nSupport the creation and certification of trusted data products for enterprise consumption.\nCreate and review data models and enforce data modelling standards.\nLead enterprise Semantic Modelling standard and develop a framework for context engineering.\nStakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration\nAct as a bridge between strategic leadership and execution teams, ensuring alignment and effective delivery of initiatives.\nEngage with business leaders across Clinical Operations, Safety, Regulatory, and Biometrics to understand and address data needs.\nCollaborate with the Integration Center of Excellence (CoE) and enterprise architecture teams to promote standardized integration patterns.\nInnovation & Future-Ready Data Ecosystem\nSupport the adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI by enabling high-quality, well-governed, and AI-ready data assets.\nContribute to the evolution of the enterprise data ecosystem through knowledge graphs, semantic models, and advanced analytics.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance data capabilities and drive continuous improvement.\nEducation\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Data Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.\nExperience\n8+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or analytics within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.\nProven experience supporting enterprise-scale data and analytics initiatives.\nExperience with Clinical Development and R&D data domains.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong understanding of modern data architectures, including data lakehouse, data mesh, and medallion patterns.\nHands-on experience with Databricks and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).\nFamiliarity with MDM/RDM platforms (e.g., Reltio) and data governance/catalog tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra).\nKnowledge of data quality frameworks, metadata management, and lineage.\nProficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.\nUnderstanding of GxP and regulatory requirements in the life sciences industry.\nLeadership & Soft Skills\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to translate strategic vision into actionable execution.\nExperience working in cross-functional and global teams.\nStrategic thinking combined with hands-on problem-solving.\nAbility to influence and drive adoption of enterprise standards.\nSalary Range Poland: 289,800.00 PLN - 362,300.00 PLN\nGlobal Competencies\nWhen we exhibit our values of Patients First, Driving Excellence, Bold Ingenuity, and Collaborative Spirit, through our twelve global competencies below, we help get more affordable medicines to more patients around the world.\nFosters Teamwork\nProvides and Solicits Honest and Actionable Feedback\nSelf-Awareness\nActs Inclusively\nDemonstrates Initiative\nEntrepreneurial Mindset\nContinuous Learning\nEmbraces Change\nResults-Oriented\nAnalytical Thinking/Data Analysis\nFinancial Excellence\nCommunicates with Clarity\nWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
