At BeOne we believe that access to life-changing medicine sees no borders.\nGeneral Description:\nThe Senior Director, Global Digital & Technology Systems Engineering operates primarily as the primary point of contact and strategic bridge to the Global Technology Solutions (Enterprise IT function), ensuring all business-specific systems align with Enterprise infrastructure, security, identity management, and cloud platform standards.\nThe role owns the end-to-end remit for systems engineering for externally developed platforms & solutions, integration engineering, and technical application lifecycles across the organization. This includes designing, configuring, and deploying high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and containerized environments, alongside implementing modern system observability frameworks and robust data pipeline integration architectures. Additionally, this leader acts as a deep technical subject matter expert who advises on and engineers foundational AI architecture and systems engineering patterns, including advanced RAG pipelines, agentic AI frameworks & multi-modal integration patterns.\nAs a member of the GRDTS Leadership Team, the Senior Director is an active contributor to developing and executing BeOne’s R&D systems engineering strategy, defining necessary technology investments, and driving transparency in prioritization and planning. The Senior Director and their team are responsible for ensuring the strategy is fully aligned with business needs, positioning GRDTS to deliver and realize compelling business value.\nA successful candidate is a dynamic leader who brings deep end-to-end pharma / biotech domain knowledge with technical expertise related to digital & technology systems, systems engineering, processes, data science, analytics, AI, & genAI. and processing lifecycle of datasets for the Research function.\n\nManage the systems engineering and product development lifecycle, codebase evolution, patch management, and automated deployments of customized platforms and applications, ensuring long-term technical sustainability for the Research function.\n\nFoundational AI Architectures & Workflow Patterns\nAct as the technical SME & oversee the design, on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, engineering vector storage integrations, advanced chunking strategies, and semantic retrieval layers.\n\nDesign and implement agentic AI system patterns, orchestrating multi-agent frameworks that can securely handle complex, multi-step autonomous workflows and tasks.\n\nEngineer pipelines capable of handling multi-modal AI inputs
