This position is responsible for developing accurate estimates and bids while also providing technical and project support to ensure successful project delivery in the field.\nThis individual will be responsible for preparing competitive bids, analyzing project documents, and identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency in quoting, while also working closely with field crews to monitor project progress, track production quantities, assist with schedules, and interpret excavation plans to identify additional scope items or risks. By bridging the office and field, the Civil Project Engineer ensures alignment between estimates and execution, supports continuous improvement in project delivery, and contributes to the overall success of the Civil Group.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in civil estimating or project engineering, with strong knowledge of excavation methods, equipment, and industry best practices. They must be proficient in reading and interpreting civil drawings, specifications, and project plans, and be able to apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
